The antenna and receiver are configured to receive RF pulses. The tracker is configured to generate improved geolocation data for every received RF pulse based on kinematics of the received RF pulses. The processor is communicatively coupled to the database, the receiver, and the tracker. The processor is configured to associate each received RF pulse with an existing track in the track database or to create a new track.

The control may position a nozzle of the impeller so when a surface condition of the edge of the sheet is more favorable than that of the center of the sheet, the impeller spray concentration moves toward the center, and when a surface condition of the center of the sheet is more favorable than that of a respective edge of the sheet, the impeller spray concentration moves away from the center of the sheet. The control may raise the sheet advancement rate when the surface condition of the center of the sheet is more favorable than a standard, and lower the sheet advancement rate when a surface condition of the center of the sheet is less favorable than a standard.

Collaborative IHS configuration operations are initiated by a first user selecting an IHS product to collaboratively configure. The first user selects one of more additional users for collaboration. The current product configuration, along with configuration options for each of the components of the selected IHS product, is then respectively displayed within a user interface (UI) for each of the users. Collaborative product configuration modification operations are then interactively performed by the users. The modified configuration is then saved as a unique configuration of the IHS product.

A user of a social media site elects to perform an activity associated with a social commerce site. Once the social commerce activity has been performed, its corresponding value is processed with social commerce reputation data associated with the user to generate a social commerce reputation score for the user. The resulting social commerce reputation score is then compared to the requirements associated with different social commerce reputation badges. The social commerce reputation badge that matches the user's current social commerce reputation score is then displayed as a graphical image within the social commerce site along with the user's associated social commerce reputation data.

Abstract: The invention includes a thermometer with a backlight and a method for lighting the backlight. The thermometer has temperature sensing tip, a processor taking temperature readings and determining a sensed temperature reading of the living being from the temperature sensing tip. The thermometer also includes a display and a backlight for lighting the display. The backlight is activated upon a command from the processor and the processor determines whether a decrease in the temperature readings exceeds or is equal to a predetermined threshold in order to activate the backlight. The method embodiment can includes the steps of using the processor to monitor a temperature change indicated by a temperature sensing element. The processor then detects a temperature decrease and activates a first color light emitting element to backlight a display if the temperature decrease exceeds or equals a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A thermometer having a temperature sensing element connected to a processor and a display. The processor can receive signals from the temperature sensing element related to the temperature of a patient. The processor and temperature sensing element are enclosed within in the thermometer. The temperature sensing element is adjacent a highly conductive cover defining a temperature probe. The temperature probe includes gold or gold alloy on an outer surface thereof. The outer surface contacts the user and the gold covered probe acts as a hypoallergenic heat transfer element between the user and the temperature sensing element. The gold tip can be used with a glass-tube thermometer or an electronic thermometer.
