    Abstract: Arrangements for providing dynamic passive authentication are provided. In some aspects, registration data may be received for a plurality of users. The registration data may include biometric data of each user of the plurality of users, and identification of one or more user computing devices that each user is authorize to access. In response to receiving an indication of login to a user computing device by a first user, one or more passive authentication functions may be activated and biometric data may be received from devices associated with the user computing device. The computing platform may compare the received biometric data to registration biometric data associated with the first user. If the received data matches the registration data, the system may capture additional biometric data at a subsequent time. If the received data does not match the registration data, one or more mitigation actions may be identified and executed.

    Abstract: An electric power system includes a fuel cell system having a fuel cell stack, and a charge air system having an air compressor and an exhaust turbine for conveying pressurized air to and receiving exhaust from the fuel cell stack. The electric power system also includes a temperature control system having a bypass conduit, and a diverter valve structured to divert pressurized intake air or exhaust around the heat exchanger in a bypass path. The strategy improves charge air system efficiency and can mitigate concerns such as turbine inlet icing when a temperature difference between a compressor outlet temperature and a turbine inlet temperature is less than a threshold temperature difference.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes receiving a data packet with a quality-of-service (QoS) factor to be transmitted to an endpoint device, identifying a bonding group including multiple channels of dominant and remaining channels with each channel having respective queues, and determining queue occupancies for queues associated with the channels. The queues correspond to the QoS factor. The method also includes retrieving weights corresponding the QoS factor that are associated with the channels from a weight table. The weights are calculated based at least in part on a saturation threshold of the dominant channels. The method further includes generating adjusted queue occupancies based on the queue occupancies and the weights, selecting a first queue associated with a first channel based on the adjusted queue occupancies, and scheduling the first data packet for transmitting to the endpoint device via the first queue.

    Abstract: A lubricant distribution system for supplying lubricant. The system includes a reservoir for lubricant and a pump assembly for pumping the lubricant. The pump assembly includes a crank case having a crank assembly that is insertable into and removable from a housing of the crank case without disassembly of the crank assembly, to provide ease of assembly and disassembly of the crank case. The system also includes a shut-off valve stopping the refilling of the reservoir with lubricant. The shut-off valve includes a blocker for preventing the flow of lubricant to the reservoir and an actuation surface for positioning the blocker to prevent the flow of lubricant. For overfill protection, the actuation surface is movable relative to the blocker. The system also includes a mount with a one-way valve mounted thereto. The one-way valve is removable from the mount for easy replacement or cleaning of the one-way valve.

The computing platform may utilize the location information for authenticating the computer. Moreover, the location information may be encrypted by the geolocation dongle based on an encryption key known by the geolocation dongle and the computing platform. With another aspect, authentication is supported by a computer and an associated communication device that provides location information to the computer via a short-range communication channel.

    Abstract: An electronic device such as a wristwatch may include a conductive housing. A corrosion-resistant coating may be deposited on the conductive housing. The coating may include transition layers and an uppermost alloy layer. The transition layers may include a chromium seed layer on the conductive housing and a chromium nitride layer on the chromium seed layer. The uppermost alloy layer may include TiCrCN or other alloys and may provide the coating with desired optical reflection and absorption characteristics. The transition layers may include a minimal number of coating defects, thereby eliminating potential sites at which visible defects could form when exposed to salt water. This may allow the electronic device to exhibit a desired color and to be submerged in salt water without producing undesirable visible defects on the conductive housing structures.

The method includes filling the volume with polymer and releasing a molded part from said mold and cooling a molded part resulting from the filling and releasing such that temperature that the widths of the pair of slots is non-uniform after cooling. The needle guard has upper and lower jaws defining a channel and coming together at a hinge. A winged needle can be inserted between the jaws, with the wings of the winged needle passing through slots between the jaws.
