    Abstract: A method for inspecting connectors of multi-fiber optical cables is disclosed. The method may include receiving a plurality of images of a plurality of areas of a connector and determining, via at least a processor, matching features in two or more images according to unique visual characteristics of the images. The method further may include aligning the images, according to unique matching features of the images, and combining the images such as to obtain a combined-image of the full connector or a desired area of the connector. The combined-image of the connector may be displayed on a monitor or a display.
