  • Patent number: 11931442
Abstract: Disclosed are water-based personal cleansing compositions having an isotropic surfactant phase, the compositions containing (a) an amidoamine surfactant, (b) cleansing surfactant, (c) water, and (d) protonating agent, the cleansing surfactant containing 85 to 100% by weight of a combination of betaine surfactant and taurate surfactant in particular ratios; also disclosed are methods of thickening such compositions by the addition of electrolyte.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2018
Date of Patent: March 19, 2024
    Assignee: CONOPCO, INC.
Inventors: Massimiliano Trentini, Helen Diane Thompson, Christopher David Bentley, Lynsey Joanne Coan
  • Patent number: 11779528
Abstract: Disclosed are water-based personal cleansing compositions having an isotropic surfactant phase, the compositions containing (a) cationic surfactant that includes a quaternary ammonium compound and/or an amidoamine, (b) cleansing surfactant and (c) water, the cleansing surfactant containing 85 to 100% by weight of a combination of betaine surfactant and taurate surfactant in particular ratios; also disclosed are methods of thickening such compositions by the addition of electrolyte.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2018

  • Patent number: 11475575
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring movement characteristics of a first hair switch includes a movement rig, a camera, and a computer. The first hair switch is mountable on the movement rig. The movement rig is operable to apply a forced oscillation to the first hair switch. The camera is for capturing images of the first hair switch during movement of the first hair switch during and after application of the forced oscillation. The computer is communicably connected to the camera. The computer includes a processor for processing the images and extracting quantitative measurements of the first hair switch from the images. A filter is applied to the images to remove any stray hairs detected before subsequent analysis of the images is carried out.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 20, 2018
Date of Patent: October 18, 2022
    Assignee: Conopco, Inc.
Inventors: Christopher David Bentley, Llyr Glyndwr Griffiths, Eric Gordon Mahers, Julie Marie Roberts, Graham John Cleaver, Aneta Magdalena Stasik, James Steven Cowan, Geoffrey Francis Lawton
  • Patent number: 11103438
Abstract: A rinse off hair treatment composition comprising; a. a pressure sensitive adhesive emulsion comprising one or more pressure sensitive polymer, wherein the pressure sensitive polymer is not silicone pressure sensitive polymer, and b. at least one material selected from the group consisting of i) a hair conditioning agent; ii) a hair cleansing agent, and, c. a deposition aid.
    Type: Grant
