The method comprises receiving, by a database server, user selection of one or more database applications from a requesting user to generate context-specific content customized by the requesting user for display in a PIM application user interface. The method further comprises generating, using the user-selected database applications, user-customized context-specific content and transmitting to the PIM application, by the database server, the user-customized context-specific content for display in the PIM application user interface along with a PIM message.
