    Abstract: A vehicle includes a panel that defines an aperture. The vehicle also includes a cover operably coupled to the panel. The cover is operable between a first condition and a second condition. In the first condition, the cover conceals the aperture. In the second condition, access to the aperture is provided. The vehicle further includes an electrical connector coupled to the cover, such that the electrical connector moves with the cover as the cover moves between the first and second conditions. Movement of the cover from the first condition to the second condition reveals the electrical connector.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a compact keyboard, monitor, and mouse (KMM) system for use in an equipment rack. The system includes a tray subsystem including a pair of drawer slides configured to mate with the equipment rack, each drawer slide having a bottom plane parallel to the ground when installed in the equipment rack. The system further includes a console housing supported by the tray subsystem. The console housing has a top surface that defines recesses for a keyboard and a monitor. The system also includes a keyboard. When secured in the keyboard recess, the keyboard is positioned parallel to the bottom plane of the tray subsystem. When positioned in the monitor recess, the monitor is canted at an angle relative to the bottom plane of the tray subsystem. The angle is selected to minimize the overall height of the KMM system while maximizing user ergonomics.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mounting platform for use in an equipment rack having a frame with a pair of spaced apart vertical frame elements. The mounting platform supports at least one external device adjacent a rear area of the equipment rack without interfering with use of internal device mounting locations within the equipment rack. The mounting platform makes use of a gate panel which is configured to support the external device thereon. At least one hinge is used to support the gate panel in a vertical orientation from one of the vertical frame elements. The gate panel is movable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position the gate panel is positioned parallel to a line extending between the vertical frame elements and supports the external device adjacent to the rear area of the equipment rack.
