  • Publication number: 20240370686
Abstract: RFID tag ICs may be configured with privacy modes. When a tag IC is in a privacy mode, it will not respond to commands unless a previous command includes correct verification information or specifies a recycling indicator of the tag IC. If the previous command includes correct verification information, then the tag IC will respond to one or more subsequent commands as normal, for example by responding with one or more identifiers. If the previous command does not include correct verification information but specifies a recycling indicator and the privacy mode is recycling-enabled, the tag IC may respond to one or more subsequent commands with recycling information. The recycling information identifies whether or how an item associated with the RFID IC can be recycled or disposed but does not otherwise identify the RFID IC or item. Otherwise, the tag IC may remain silent.

  • Patent number: 12089874
Abstract: In some embodiments an apparatus for providing access for a medical procedure in a patient's body cavity includes a stem configured for insertion through an opening in a body cavity wall. The stem has a bore and a cap is disposed at a proximal end thereof and includes an entry port in communication with the bore which receives an instrument to be inserted into the body cavity. An inflatable annular seal is disposed on the stem proximate the cap and a conduit extends through the cap providing pressurized gas at a first outlet in fluid communication with the body cavity providing insufflation pressure. A second outlet of the conduit is in fluid communication the seal, which when disposed inside the body cavity proximate the wall and inflated by pressurized gas, bears on an inner surface of the wall urging the cap into contact with an outer surface of the wall while sealing the opening.

  • Publication number: 20240123123
Abstract: A tubing component, and methods of forming, for a particulate material delivery assembly including a particulate delivery device to deliver a mixed particulate solution to a patient. The tubing component includes a material including a material density, and a determined thickness sufficient to shield a delivery line connector of a particulate delivery device from at least 90% of a radiation dose. The delivery line connector is configured to receive the mixed particulate solution from the particulate delivery device of the particulate material delivery assembly, and the determined thickness of the tubing component is calculated based on the material density to achieve shielding of the delivery line connector by the material of at least 90% of the radiation dose. The tubing component includes an integral wall of the delivery line connector, an outer sleeve configured to be removably disposed about the delivery line connector, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: The disclosure generally describes computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for generating a health recommendation. A computer-implemented method includes receiving genetic data and user data of a user. The genetic data is processed to generate vector representations of a fixed size by using an unsupervised learning algorithm. Health risk features are extracted from the vector representations by using a multi-layer convolutional neural network. Dietary conditions associated with the health risk features are determined and used to generate the health recommendation. The health recommendation is displayed for the user.
