Patent number: 12106280Abstract: Implementations for providing event processing services for a plurality of services are described. An example method may comprise receiving, by a payment processing service, data indicative of a payment event associated with an ordering service. The method may comprise causing, based on an accounting rule specific to a payment option associated with the payment event, a first entry associated with a handover account and the payment event to be added to a data store. The method may comprise sending, to the ordering service, handover information indicating the handover account and the payment event. The ordering service may cause, based on the handover information, a second entry associated with the handover account and the payment event to be added to the data store. The handover account may facilitate satisfying accounting rules for payment events without the ordering service having to manage satisfaction of the accounting rules.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2021Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Catalin Constantin, Jie Chen, Shobhit Sinha, Subhas Chandra Dey, Manish Lonial, Michael Kearney, Christopher Duff

Patent number: 11717336Abstract: An electrosurgical generator capable of supplying energy in a waveform that causes electroporation in biological tissue. The electrosurgical generator may comprise an electroporation waveform supply unit that is integrated with an electromagnetic signal supply unit for generating microwave electromagnetic signals and radiofrequency electromagnetic signals for treatment. The electrosurgical generator may be configured to deliver different types of energy along a common feed cable. The electroporation waveform supply unit comprises a DC power supply and a DC pulse generator. The DC power supply may include a DC-DC converter for up-converting a voltage output by an adjustable voltage supply. Each DC pulse may have a duration in the range 1 ns to 10 ms and a maximum amplitude in the range 10 V to 10 kV.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2019Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: CREO MEDICAL LIMITEDInventors: Christopher Paul Hancock, Malcolm White, John Bishop, Ilan Wyn Davies, Christopher Duff, George Hodgkins

Patent number: 11446083Abstract: A microwave amplifier having a load network which provides more efficient amplification of a low power microwave frequency signal. The amplifier comprises a transistor and a load network coupled to the transistor output to shape a waveform of an amplified microwave signal at the transistor current source plane. The load network comprises: a fundamental matching network to provide impedance matching at a fundamental frequency; a half-wave transmission line for a second harmonic frequency disposed between the transistor output and the fundamental matching network; a quarter-wave stub and a five-quarter-wave stub for a third harmonic frequency arranged on the half-wave transmission line to provide an open circuit condition at the third harmonic; and a quarter-wave stub for the second harmonic frequency and a quarter-wave stub for the fundamental frequency, arranged on the half-wave transmission line to provide a short circuit condition at the second harmonic frequency.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2019Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: CREO MEDICAL LIMITEDInventors: Christopher Paul Hancock, Christopher Duff

Patent number: 8500726Abstract: A portable electrosurgical system (100) for treating biological tissue with microwave radiation (e.g. having a frequency between 500 MHz and 60 GHz) is disclosed. The system comprises a hand-held microwave sub-assembly (102) which generates and amplifies a microwave signal (which may be continuous or modulated) for treatment and includes a treatment antenna (116) for delivering the radiation. Diode detectors (120, 122) in the sub-assembly (102) may detect forward and reflected power levels to enable determination of net delivered power. A dynamic impedance matching system may be provided to match energy developed by amplifiers (110, 112) in the sub-assembly (102) to the biological tissue load. A tuning filter (144) and couplers (146, 148, 150, 152) for extracting magnitude and phase information from the microwave signal are thus provided in the sub-assembly.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2007Date of Patent: August 6, 2013Assignee: Medical Device Innovations LimitedInventors: Christopher P. Publication number: 20050201488Abstract: A system and method for displaying digital interface symbol information from at least one analog signal is provided. The digital interface symbol information includes encoded symbols as well as decoded information the encoded symbols represent. First, a set of data samples of the analog signal is captured at a frequency at least as high as the switching rate of the analog signal. The set of data samples is then converted into a serial bit stream by way of either a provided or extracted clock. The serial bit stream is searched for one or more sync symbols identified with the particular encoding scheme employed in the digital interface. Using the sync symbols, the encoded symbols in the serial bit stream are identified. At least some of the digital interface symbol information, such as the encoded symbols and the decoded information, are then correlated and displayed with a trace of the analog signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2004Publication date: September 15, 2005Inventors: Christopher Duff, Richard Eads
