The computing device generates, in response to the receiving the information for the employee out-of-office event, a notification message for a manager, wherein the notification message is based on the configuration data and the information for an employee out-of-office event. The computing device receives a request to present an out-of-office calendar for a portion of an organization associated with the employee and sends, to a user device, a calendar with the stored information for the employee out-of-office event that is responsive to the request to present the out-of-office calendar.
