Abstract: A physical therapy chair having a first support element defining a seating surface, a second support element defining a backrest, wherein the second support element is pivotable with respect to the first support element and rotatable with respect to the first support element. The chair further including an arm support element coupled to the second support element, as well as a first motion actuator coupled to the second support element to rotate the second support element with respect to the first support element, and a second motion actuator coupled to the second support to pivot the second support element with respect to the first support element. The chair also includes a first controller that allows a user to modify an operational characteristic of the first motion actuator and a second controller that allows a user to modify an operational characteristic of the second motion actuator.

More specifically, embodiments of the invention relate to an endoscopic instrument with a handle portion configured to accommodate an elongate, flexible member and an end effector assembly of the endoscopic instrument for protection, coiling, looping, containment, packaging and for disposal. The device may have a variety of configurations.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to endoscopic instruments. More particularly, embodiments of the invention relate to features on the clevis portion of endoscopic instruments. The devises may be formed from a sheet material to obtain a substantially cylindrical end and at least one clevis arm. The clevis features may include an axle having at least one flared end to engage a clevis arm, one or more U-shaped grooves on the clevis arms to receive an axle, and stiffening ribs to strengthen the clevis arms.

Abstract: An aspect of the invention relates to a forceps and collection assembly having multiple components and their related methods of use and manufacture. More specifically, an embodiment of the invention relates to a forceps for obtaining and collecting multiple samples in a collection assembly, such as a pouch. The forceps has multiple components including an insert cutting edge, a molded biopsy jaw, and an insert molded pouch.
