  • Patent number: 11667785
Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer compound includes acrylic block copolymer and functionalized polysiloxane. Polymeric articles formed from the thermoplastic elastomer compound can have improved stain resistance, while also achieving other desirable properties such as low tackiness (i.e., low coefficient of friction) and good clarity (i.e., low haze).

  • Patent number: 11407959
Abstract: Described herein is a process, comprising: a) selecting an API Group II base stock with selected viscosity index and pour point; b) blending a base oil with the base stock, and c) adding to the base oil: i) a liquid ethylene propylene copolymer viscosity modifier that reduces a traction coefficient, and ii) an additive package, to make a driveline fluid that has a defined viscosity index and excellent shear stability. Also provided is a driveline fluid composition having the high viscosity index and excellent shear stability, comprising: a) a base oil comprising from 50 wt % to 100 wt % API Group II base stock; b) a liquid ethylene propylene copolymer viscosity modifier that reduces a traction coefficient; and c) an additive package. Further provided is a method for lubricating an axle or manual transmission by supplying the driveline fluid composition.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20220227988
Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound is disclosed which has very low hardness by virtue of the use of a combination of high styrene content styrene-ethylene-ethylene-propylene-styrene copolymer, a conventional styrene-ethylene-ethylene-propylene-styrene copolymer, and a plasticizer. Super-soft extruded or molded plastic articles may be formed from pellets of the compound, with a resulting Shore OO Hardness of between about 35 to about 52. Molded articles may be prepared using injection molding techniques.

  • Publication number: 20180085788
Abstract: A material handling system reduces or eliminates human interaction with articles sorted and deposited into an order container to maintain validation and integrity of the order. Validated articles are inducted onto a sortation conveyor that selectively dispenses or deposits each article at a destination into a container. A shuttle vehicle moves along a first side of row of such containers to replace an empty container in place of any container that holds a completed order and moves the latter onto a transport conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20110083933
Abstract: A travel bag is provided that includes a back wall and a foldable end wall, to facilitate compact storage when not in use. The bag includes a support assembly having two support arms, extending between the end wall and the back wall. The support arms are disposed proximate to sidewalls of the bag body. In this manner, the support arms provide rigid support to maintain the end wall in an expanded position and provide support to the sidewalls. The support assembly maintained in place by a clip disposed on an interior side of the back wall. A user can quickly collapse the end wall by removing the support assembly from the clip.

  • Publication number: 20100242239
Abstract: A fastening mechanism is provided that a male component configured to be slidably received by a female component. The female component includes a receptacle having an open end and a terminal end proximate to the upper end thereof. A detent is located proximate to the terminal end of the receptacle and is configured to engage an aperture of the male component. The female component is configured to be coupled to a portable object, while the male component can be attached to a larger object. In use, the components are coupled together by sliding the female component on to the male component generally transverse to the longitudinal axis of the male component until the detent is received in the aperture of the male component.
