  • Patent number: 11725427
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method for operating an opening mechanism which serves for the opening of a motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is formed separately from the motor vehicle lock and, for the opening, is coupled mechanically to the motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is assigned a control arrangement, a switchable coupling arrangement, an actuating lever and an electric drive arrangement. It is proposed that the overall pivoting region of the actuating lever starting from the starting position comprises a first pivoting region and a second pivoting region following the latter, wherein the motorized opening operation can be triggered by means of the drive arrangement by means of an actuating stroke over the first pivoting region.

  • Patent number: 11286970
Abstract: A corner connection is provided between support elements of a cableway cabin. The corner connection has a support element (1), designed as an elongated strut having a hollow end (2), and an angled connecting element (3) having a connecting piece (4). The connecting piece (4) is insertable into the hollow end (2) of the support element (1) in a form-fitting manner. An inner shape of the hollow end (2) and an outer shape of the connecting piece (4) have an angular design. At least two oppositely situated surfaces of the hollow end (2) and the connecting piece (4) are provided in a form-fitting manner in such a way that a gap (14, 14?) remains between the inner surface (10, 10?) of the hollow end (2) and the outer surface (9, 9?) of the connecting piece (4), wherein an adhesive material is provided in the gap (14, 14?).

  • Patent number: 9776940
Abstract: A process for production of acrylic acid includes preparing a product gas mixture by a catalytic gas-phase oxidation of a C3 precursor; cooling and contacting the cooled product gas mixture in an absorption column having at least two cooling loops in countercurrent with an absorbent to obtain an absorbate A, containing the absorbent and absorbed acrylic acid; condensing a high boiler fraction of the product gas mixture in a first cooling loop; condensing a low boiler fraction of the product gas mixture in a second cooling loop; maintaining a temperature of the absorbate A in the second cooling loop at a value of at least 56° C.; removing an acid water stream comprising glyoxal from the absorption column at a side take-off located above the second cooling loop; and removing a stream F of absorbate A from the absorption column at a side take-off, located at a height of the absorption column between the first cooling loop and the second cooling loop.

  • Publication number: 20070133005
Abstract: A passive optical system substantially simultaneously separates light received at an optical input into three or more output light beams on optical outputs. The output light beams may have intensities that are proportional to intensities of optical projections of the received light onto three or more basis vectors of a tetrahedral basis set of a Stokes space. The system includes either multiple partial polarization splitters or multiple optical interferometers.

  • Publication number: 20060078259
Abstract: A latching mechanism for releasably engaging an optical module with an outer housing (referred to as a “cage”) includes a bail handle that is pivotally attached to a front end of the optical module, allowing the bail handle to rotate between a first, engaged position and a second, disengaged position. The bail handle includes a pair of slide arms that move along the sidewalls of the optical module as the bail handle is rotated, the slide arms moving backward to affect disengagement and moving forward to affect engagement between the optical module and the housing. The optical module includes a pair of channels that support the pair of slide arms as they move between the engaged/disengaged positions such that when the pair of slide arms is in the forward, engaged position, the end portion of each channel is exposed such that a pair of locking tabs formed on the housing will enter the end portions and provide the engagement of the optical module to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060006526
Abstract: The specification describes electrical assemblies comprising actively cooled components wherein a thermal interposer is used to limit heat transfer between the ambient and the cooled components. The thermal interposer is effective for transmitting signals for both power/ground and RF. Structurally, the thermal interposer comprises thin conductors in various configurations that convey electrical signals but significantly limit heat flow.
