  • Patent number: 10777334
Abstract: A wiring harness assembly includes a plurality of separated conductors formed of an electrically conductive material, a substrate formed of a dielectric material encasing the plurality of separated conductors, a location feature integrally formed with the substrate and an opening defined in the substrate having a predetermined size and shape. A section of the plurality of separated conductors is exposed within the opening. The opening is precisely located relative to the location feature.

  • Patent number: 5509825
Abstract: A filtered header assembly for connection to a printed circuit board having a plurality of circuit traces thereon comprises a connector housing carrying a plurality of spaced pin terminals whose ends remote from the connector housing are adapted to be electrically connected to the circuit traces on the printed circuit board and a filter means including capacitors operatively connected with the pins and a ground for filtering electrical noise passing through the pins. The filter means comprises a filter pack subassembly which is simultaneously slidably connected to each of the plurality of pins and with the filter pack subassembly including a housing means having a plurality of openings therethrough through which the pins extend, an array of spaced capacitors in the housing and located adjacent said pins and biasing means for biasing the array of capacitors into engagement with the pins.

  • Patent number: 5252092
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly has a multiple cavity thermoplastic connector body for receiving cylindrical terminals. The connector body has cantilevered deflectable arms provided with underlocks which overlie open channels provided with aligned lock ramps. The terminals, when being connected to the connector body, engage the ramps and cause the arms to be deflected from their normal position until lands on the terminal move past the lock ramps and underlocks on the arms whereupon the arms snap back to their normal position and provide an audible click to apprise an assembler that the terminal has been properly connected.

  • Patent number: 5120240
Abstract: An electrical connector has a pump handle lock arm that provides a forward lock arm for locking the electrical connector to a mating electrical connector and a rearward release handle that is depressible to unlock the lock arm, and a connector position assurance device that has a tongue that fits beneath the release handle to assure proper engagement of the lock arm. The tongue of the connector position assurance device has its opposite lateral sides integrally connected to respective laterally spaced, rib stiffened runners for installing the connector position assurance device onto the electrical connector and it is shaped so that the tongue and runners are sufficiently rigid to prevent installation on the pump handle lock arm when the electrical connector is not properly mated to the mating electrical connector.
