  • Patent number: 11466459
Abstract: The invention is a continuous gutter guard manufacturing process and a one-piece gutter guard article made therefrom which crimps a wire mesh filtration screen within the recesses of upper and lower supports of the one-piece gutter guard article. The wire mesh filtration screen has no underlying support, which is characteristic of a one-piece gutter guard construction. The upper and lower edges of the mesh filtration screen remain in a planar, non-embossed state, such that any ridges or patterns embossed into the screen do not follow into the portion of the screen that is crimped within the upper and lower supports of the gutter guard. This construction prevents the formation of debris pockets which can significantly reduce the performance of a one-piece gutter guard.

  • Patent number: 10808408
Abstract: A gutter guard system for keeping leaves and other debris out of a roof gutter while allowing water to pass into the gutter having a wire mesh filtration screen attached to an underlying support. The wire mesh filtration screen employs horizontal rows of individual elevated shapes, elevated ridges and connected elevated shapes that are staggered relative to adjacent horizontal rows. The horizontal rows employ individual elevated shapes, elevated ridges and connected elevated shapes with leading edges which are configured with high points graduating to low points to aid in diverting water from its normal path being perpendicular to the gutter. The leading edge slows the water down and creates a siphoning effect of water diverting into the gutter.

  • Patent number: 10801208
Abstract: A gutter guard filtering device built to cover the top of a rainwater gutter opening. The gutter guard filtering device is comprised of an extruded rigid metal or rigid plastic support frame that supports a separate filtering media assembly and a separate rear wing assembly where the filtering media is comprised of a pachinko-style filtering media design or a continuous bead-style filtering media and the rear wing is a sheet metal rear wing assembly. The main body frame contains both front and rear receivers that hold the filtering media, that hold the wing assembly, or hold both filter filtering media and wing together in such a manner as the receivers contain serrations, bosses, or protrusions on the surfaces that come in contact with the filtering media and/or wing assembly in a tongue and groove configuration.

  • Patent number: 10683667
Abstract: A gutter filtering device constructed to be mounted on top of a gutter opening and to extend from the front to the rear, and to attach to the front lip of the gutter. The gutter filtering device comprises a main body frame portion supporting a filtering media, a front mounting portion and a rear wing mounting portion. The main body frame portion is comprised of louvers that supports and holds a filtering media. The front mounting portion comprises a bending of the main body frame that folds over and crimps to the front end of the filtering media. The rear mounting portion comprises a separate rear wing folded over and crimpled to rear portion of the main body frame. The filtering media's top surface is shaped with many front to rear raised ridges in an repeating S-shape pattern that are parallel and form a consistent pattern from left to right.
