  • Patent number: 11305211
Abstract: A condensate separator for an exhaust gas measuring system. The condensate separator includes a housing with condensate discharge opening, an inlet opening arranged in the housing, a cooled inlet line which introduces a fluid into the housing, and a gas outlet port with a gas entrance and a gas exit. The cooled inlet line opens into the inlet opening. The gas outlet port opens into a gas outlet line. A cross-sectional area of the gas entrance of the gas outlet port is larger than a cross-sectional area of the gas exit of the gas outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20210190636
Abstract: A control cabinet for an exhaust gas measuring system includes a cabinet body with a component having an inlet and an outlet arranged therein. The outlet is connected via a first connection element to an outlet tube, and the inlet is connected via a second connection element to an inlet tube. The first or second connection element is selectively mounted in a first connection position or in a second connection position so that the outlet tube connecting to the first connection element or the inlet tube connecting to the second connection element is aligned horizontally in the first connection position and vertically in the second connection position. The first connection element or the second connection element are adapted to be mounted in the first connection position and in the second connection position via a 180° rotation in the outlet connection plane.

  • Patent number: 10317318
Abstract: An exhaust-gas sampling system includes a main conveying line, a main throughput pump which conveys a sample gas in the main conveying line, a sample gas bag, a sample gas withdrawal line which fluidically connects the main conveying line to the sample gas bag, a throughflow control element arranged in the sample gas withdrawal line, an analyzer, a sample gas analysis line which connects the analyzer to the sample gas bag, an evacuation line which establishes a fluidic connection between the main throughput pump and the sample gas bag, and a first valve arranged in the evacuation line. The first valve opens and closes the evacuation line.

  • Patent number: 5969617
Abstract: A flame ionization detector having a pair of spaced electrodes to which a DC voltage is applied and a flame produced between the electrodes by burning a gas whose composition is to be determined, thereby ions are produced which form an ion current between the electrodes which is representative of the gas composition to be measured. The flame detector is formed by a base plate having a first channel for inlet of the gas whose composition to be measured, a second channel for inlet of a combustion gas, a third channel connected to the first and second channels for conveying a mixture of the gases to an outlet communicating with a nozzle outlet in a ceramic plate on the base plate which faces an opening in a metal plate spaced at a predetermined distance from the ceramic plate such that the flame burns in the opening in the metal plate. An electrically conductive metal layer is disposed on the ceramic plate around the nozzle outlet therein.

  • Patent number: 5852227
Abstract: Apparatus for the measurement of components of exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine in a flame ionization chamber to which the exhaust gas, combustion gas and combustion air are supplied and in which the gas components in the exhaust gases are measured. The apparatus comprises three connection lines respectively for receiving the exhaust gas, combustion gas and combustion air for supplying these to the flame ionization detector. A separate control line is provided containing a pressure controller and an outlet nozzle body which opens to ambient atmosphere. The control line has a section between the pressure controller and the outlet nozzle body. Each connection line has inlet and outlet flow adjusters defining a respective section therebetween. At least two further lines connect the sections of two of the connection lines to the section of the control line.
