  • Patent number: 11677297
Abstract: A stator assembly for an electrical machine comprises a stator, a plurality of inserts and a heat sink. The stator comprises an annular core extending around an axis (X) and a plurality of axially extending slots. A plurality of sets of electrical windings is arranged within the slots. The windings have axial end portions arranged at axial ends of the core. The inserts comprise ceramic plates which are arranged in respective slots in the gaps (G) between adjacent respective electrical windings in the slots. The inserts extend axially from the respective slots for engagement with the heat sink.

  • Patent number: 11664689
Abstract: A stator assembly for an electrical machine comprises an annular core extending around an axis (X) and comprising a plurality of axially extending slots. A plurality of electrical windings are arranged in the slots and have end portions arranged at the axial ends of the core. A cooling jacket at least partially extends around a radially outer surface of the core. At least one annular cooling plate is mounted to an axial end of the cooling jacket and arranged in thermal contact with the end portions of the electrical windings.

  • Publication number: 20220181920
Abstract: An end winding flux motor is provided, which is axially connected at an end of a traditional motor, the traditional motor comprises a stator and a rotor, and the rotor is inserted into the stator; a stator winding is mounted on the stator and includes an end winding protruding from an end of the stator, and the end winding flux motor includes an end extension piece, a rotor yoke and a magnetic steel; one end of the end extension piece is connected with the stator. The winding of the motor is utilized in this way in the present disclosure to increase a power density of the motor, improve a heat dissipation capability of the end winding, and increase a “torque-current ratio” of the motor.
