  • Publication number: 20240087754
Abstract: The invention provides biomarkers and combinations of biomarkers useful in diagnosing non-small cell lung cancer. Measurements of these biomarkers are inputted into a classification system such as Random Forest to assist in determining the likelihood that an individual has non-small cell lung cancer. Kits comprising agents for detecting the biomarkers and combination of biomarkers, as well as systems that assist in diagnosing non-small cell lung cancer are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230405696
Abstract: A method for grinding a toothing of a workpiece with a grinding tool in a grinding machine, wherein during the engagement of the grinding tool in the toothing to be ground, a first and a second machine parameter are measured, and both machine parameters measured are compared with a predefined stored value, wherein a signal is output if at least one of the machine parameters exceeds or falls below the predefined stored value, taking account of a tolerance range. To enable a conclusion to be drawn about the course of the grinding process by monitoring relevant variables, at least one of the machine parameters contains periodic signal components, wherein the signal components are broken down by a frequency analysis into the individual frequency components and the frequency components are used, with regard to their frequency and/or amplitude, for comparison.

  • Publication number: 20230398620
Abstract: A method for dressing a multi-thread grinding worm for the grinding of toothings, wherein the grinding worm includes a plurality of worm threads that are each dressed by a dressing tool with at least one dressing stroke to provide the grinding worm with a desired profile. The method includes: a) dressing a first worm thread, wherein at least one process parameter is measured and recorded during the dressing process; b) dressing a further worm thread, wherein the process parameter is measured and recorded during the dressing process; c) after dressing all worm threads: combining the recorded data of the process parameter; d) comparing the combined data of the process parameter with data stored in a machine controller and checking whether the combined data are within a predefined admissible range; e) outputting a signal if the combined data are not within the predefined admissible range.

  • Publication number: 20060280670
Abstract: Apparatus for batch processing source material into charcoal in a battery of kilns, each of which use forced convection of process gases through the source material to shorten the process cycle time, and all of which use an external combustor to burn the process waste gases from each kiln to provide the primary source of applied energy for the process.

  • Patent number: 4093579
Abstract: A composition of matter comprising (1) a blend of an aqueous melamine/formaldehyde resin solution and from about 2 to about 20.0% of an ethylene glycol or (2) an aqueous solution of the resinous reaction product of melamine, formaldehyde and from about 2.0 to about 20.0% of an ethylene glycol, is disclosed.
