Abstract: A shower tray or other article having a face with an anti-slip surface comprising an array of spaced apart raised projections. Each projection has a height of between 0.5 mm and 1 mm and a top surface with an area of between 3.14 mm2 and 50.27 mm2, adjacent projections being spaced apart by between 10 mm and 16 mm. Each projection is shaped to have a right angled edge between its top and side. The projections are flared at the bottom. The anti-slip surface exhibits high anti-slip properties while being comfortable and easy to clean.

Abstract: A video signal caption system is described, which includes a receiver for receiving video signals, and a computer configured to process, at least, caption data included with the video signals, including storing a plurality of caption information corresponding to portions of the caption data in a database, detecting when received video signals contain one or more portions of caption data which correspond to caption information stored in the database, and communicating that a detection has been made.

Abstract: A method of influencing access to website, social media or mobile application content is described. The method comprises identifying the occurrence of an item of live or previously broadcast media content, identifying consumer Internet activity at the time of the occurrence of the item of media content, and identifying, from said detected consumer internet activity, a strategy to influence an Internet search function, social media site or mobile application to display selected information. Then, a subsequent broadcast of the item of media content is identified, and the identified strategy is triggered at the point the item occurs during the time of the identified subsequent broadcast.

Abstract: A tip device to act as an outboard continuation of an aircraft wing or other aerodynamic lifting surface has a downward cant angle, a leading edge swept back in relation to the leading edge of the inboard lifting surface, and a chord reducing in the outboard direction of the device. A favourable balance between induced drag reduction and increased wing root bending moment can thereby be achieved. Preferably the device also has an upwardly canted portion at its root end so that the downward cant commences from a relatively elevated spanwise location, thereby alleviating any ground clearance problems.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for managing access to a plurality of volumes of storage in a computer system including a host computer. The host computer includes an application layer that includes at least one application program. The application layer is presented with the plurality of volumes of storage that are visible to the application layer. The method of managing access to at least one of the plurality of volumes of storage includes assigning limited access privileges to the application program to access the plurality of volumes of storage. The limited access privileges are less than root access privileges and the at least one of the plurality of volumes of storage is mapped indirectly to one or more physical storage devices so that the at least one of the plurality of volumes of storage does not correspond directly to an actual physical storage device.
