  • Publication number: 20210374485
Abstract: An automatic target recognizer system including: a database that stores target recognition data including multiple reference features associated with each of multiple reference targets; a pre-selector that selects a portion of the target recognition data based on a reference gating feature of the multiple reference features; a preprocessor that processes an image received from an image acquisition system which is associated with an acquired target and determines an acquired gating feature of the acquired target; a feature extractor and processor that discriminates the acquired gating feature with the reference gating feature and, if there is a match, extracts multiple segments of the image and detects the presence, absence, probability or likelihood of one of multiple features of each of the multiple reference targets; a classifier that generates a classification decision report based on a determined classification of the acquired target; and a user interface that displays the classification decision report.

  • Publication number: 20200379504
Abstract: An optical neural network is constructed based on photonic integrated circuits to perform neuromorphic computing. In the optical neural network, matrix multiplication is implemented using one or more optical interference units, which can apply an arbitrary weighting matrix multiplication to an array of input optical signals. Nonlinear activation is realized by an optical nonlinearity unit, which can be based on nonlinear optical effects, such as saturable absorption. These calculations are implemented optically, thereby resulting in high calculation speeds and low power consumption in the optical neural network.

  • Patent number: 10617261
Abstract: A cutting board system that includes a cutting surface that removeably cooperates with at least one side of a base portion of the cutting board system. In a preferred aspect, the cutting surface includes a cutting layer and an indicator layer that underlies the cutting layer. Exposure of the indicator layer provides an indication as to degradation or use of the cutting layer and is indicative of desired replacement of the cutting surface. In a more preferred embodiment, respective cutting layers are associated with the generally opposite sides of the indicator layer such that the cutting surface is reversible.

  • Patent number: 10594665
Abstract: Techniques are provided for securely obtaining trusted information in an online environment. A first entity stores trusted information from a third entity. A second entity retrieves the trusted information from the first entity. In response to a request from a computing device of the third entity, the first entity identifies a set of attributes selected by the second entity. The first entity identifies, from a profile of the third entity, a set of values that correspond to the set of attributes. The first entity may immediately transmit the set of values to the second entity or may first cause the set of values to be presented to the third entity, for example, in an electronic form. The form may allow some of the values to be editable by the third entity and may prevent other of the values to be edited.

  • Patent number: 10454832
Abstract: Systems and methods of a balancing data requests over a computer network are provided. The system can receive a request for content to be rendered in a content slot on a computing device. The content slot can be coded with a default timer value. The system can execute a real-time content selection process to identify content items that each have a magnitude. The system can determine a timer value based on the magnitudes, and transmit the timer value to the computing device to override the default timer value to cause the computing device to replace a first content item rendered in the content slot upon expiration of the timer.
