  • Patent number: 11763810
Abstract: A home assistant device captures voice signal expressed by users in the home and extracts vocal features from these captured voice recordings. The device collects data about the current context in the home and requests from an aggregator a background model that is best adapted to the current context. This background model is obtained and locally used by the home assistant device to perform the speaker recognition. Home assistant devices from a plurality of homes contribute to the establishment of a database of background models by aggregating vocal features, clustering them according to the context and computing background models for the different contexts. These background models are then collected, clustered according to their contexts and aggregated by an aggregator in the database. Any home assistant device can then request from the aggregator the background model that fits best its current context, thus improving the speaker recognition.

  • Publication number: 20180368684
Abstract: A system and method are provided for detecting a behavior patterns of a user. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving information about activities of a user and calculating duration of each activity. Each activity that exceeds a threshold duration is categorized and labelled accordingly. Activities with similar labels are grouped and labelled activities are analyzing. Alerts are then generated for certain behavioral patterns such as those exhibiting anomalies.

  • Patent number: 9313531
Abstract: A method for delivering content to at least two terminals for synchronous playback is described. The method includes providing a first association of content to a preamble sequence, providing a second association of content to an ending sequence, providing estimations of data delivery duration from a server to at least two terminals and a playback duration of the preamble sequence in at least one of the first and second association, delivering the first and second association to the terminals wherein the playback duration of the preamble sequence is greater than or equal to the largest difference between the estimations, and wherein the estimations of data delivery duration allows each of the at least two terminals to evaluate a local temporization duration for playing-back synchronous content.
