  • Patent number: 10740144
Abstract: Controlling asynchronous tasks in a transaction system. A request to start an asynchronous child task is obtained, and a resource status of the system is determined. It is determined whether to suspend a parent task associated with the asynchronous child task or to execute the asynchronous child task based on the determined resource status of the system.

  • Patent number: 10567654
Abstract: A light sensor system including a reference light source that moves in unison with a primary mirror and/or an inertial measurement device, and/or the reference light source is directed toward an obscured region of the light sensor system. The reference light source may allow for improved jitter compensation based on feedback of the reference light. The feedback may be representative of the elastic deformation of the optics and telescope optical axis. The improved jitter compensation may allow for the light sensor system (e.g., the housing and/or mirrors) to be built with less stiff materials, which can reduce the cost of manufacturing the present light sensor system compared to previously known optical sensor systems. In cases of high vibration levels which would otherwise degrade the resulting image quality after material stiffness property selections have been exhausted, the light sensor system may provide jitter compensation to improve video or still image quality.

  • Patent number: 9741095
Abstract: A system and method for interpolating between pixels of an image for providing zoom and pan features. A piecewise cubic spline is used to find the values of each of four provisional interpolation points in each of four rows of an image and, similarly, a piecewise cubic spline is used to interpolate between the provisional interpolation points to find the value of a point in the output image. Boundary conditions used to constrain the coefficients of the piecewise cubic spline provide enhanced quality in the output image.

  • Patent number: 9710300
Abstract: A computer implemented method generates a visualization of a topology of a flow of multiple transactions. One or more processors detect that a first computer system has received a current transaction initiation request from a precursory transaction. The current transaction initiation request is for an initiation of a current transaction in a computer system, and contains parameter information that is recorded by each computer in a set of interconnected computer systems on which a transaction in the other precursory transactions is executed. One or more processors identify the flow of multiple transactions based on a flow transaction identifier and an identifier of the current transaction in the computer system. The one or more processors generate a visualization of a topology map of the current transaction and the other transactions based on information in the parameter information from the current transaction initiation request.

  • Patent number: 9405576
Abstract: A visualization of a topology of a flow of multiple transactions is generated. A first computer system receives a current transaction initiation request from a precursory transaction. The current transaction initiation request is for an initiation of a current transaction in the first computer system, and the precursory transaction is part of a flow of other transactions that are upstream from the current transaction. The current transaction initiation request contains parameter information that holds a hop count, which identifies how many computer systems have received other transaction initiation requests in the flow of other transactions, and a transaction initiation count, which identifies how many transaction initiation requests have been transmitted in the flow of other transactions. A processor generates a visualization of a topology map of the current transaction and the other transactions based on information in the parameter information from the current transaction initiation request.

  • Patent number: 4648466
Abstract: There is described a furrow opener apparatus capable of operating in a furrowing mode and a carrying mode. The apparatus consists of a double acting hydraulic cylinder having one end connected to a furrow opener drag arm and the other end connectable to a drill rig. It incorporates a pressure cushioning system consisting of at least one pressure absorber and hydraulic lines communicating through a mode valve with both the thrust and draw sides of the double acting cylinder. It further communicates through a single or double acting hydraulic valve to the hydraulic pump and reservoir of an associated prime mover such as a tractor. The mode valve is hydraulically connected to both the thrust and draw sides of the double acting cylinder. In a first mode the mode valve is hydraulically connectable to the pressure cushioning system and in a second mode hydraulically connected through a double acting hydraulic valve to the hydraulic pump and hydraulic reservoir of the prime mover.

  • Patent number: 4501973
Abstract: A skid is disclosed which is particularly suitable for supporting rotating machinery in environments where it is exposed to temperature variations and external mechanical forces and where failure of the machinery can result in the generation of an extremely high torque which has to be absorbed. The skid basically comprises a machinery support platform which is connected to an elongate torsion resisting member in torque transmitting relationship and only three spaced supporting members each incorporating a universal joint and rigidly connected to the torsion resisting member. The torsion resisting member is preferably of hollow circular cross-section throughout its length and is disposed below the medial center line of the support platform and the three supporting members are disposed at the corners of an isosceles triangle and incorporate means allowing for limited movement of the torsion resisting member relative thereto.
