Abstract: Described herein are example systems and methods of user interfaces on a product dispenser. The product dispenser includes a touch-to-pour user interface configured to provide a pattern of haptic feedback to a user while a touch is sensed on the touch-to-pour user interface. At the same time, the product dispenser is configured to dispense a product while the touch is sensed on the touch-to-pour user interface. The pattern of haptic feedback is dependent upon the product being dispensed from the product dispenser.

Abstract: This invention relates to apparatus for monitoring the pulse rate of a human or animal subject, including a pulse detector for attachment to the subject which produces a pulse signal corresponding to the pulse of the subject, a transmitter which transmits the pulse signal to a remote signal analyzer and indicator which exhibits a characteristic of the pulse. The indicator may be a monitor to continuously display the pulse rate or an alarm which indicates an increase in pulse rate. The invention also provides a method of detecting pain by detecting an increase in pulse rate using the apparatus. The invention also relates to a new pulse detection method for an animal for attachment to the underside of the tail of the animal.

Abstract: This invention relates to improvements in bottles and bottle caps and especially to bottles for pills or tablets.According to invention there is provided a container comprising a bottle (1) with a removable bottle cap (2) the container including counter means, and the bottle (1) and bottle cap (2) including first means and second means respectively, the first and second means being cooperable to increment the counter means (9, 12) each time the bottle cap (2) is removed from or replaced on the bottle (1).This provides a memory aid to indicate the number of times a bottle has been opened which is especially useful when the container is a medication bottle.
