Abstract: Methods and apparatus for fulfilling a request for information, goods, or services, while maintaining at least partial anonymity of the requester include receiving from a requestor an indication of the request and at least one identifying code. A request packet is generated which includes the identifying code of the requestor along with information identifying the entity to which the request was submitted. The request packet may optionally contain information indicating which one of a plurality of locations operated by the entity has received this particular request, and may further optionally contain information indicating which one or ones of a plurality of fulfillment packages is to be distributed. A service provider receives the request packet, and determines, from a locally maintained database and based on the requestor's identifying code, at least where to distribute the fulfillment package.
