Patent number: 10967465Abstract: A bolt repair platform includes a frame and a tool module. The tool module includes a tool having a first end configured to rotationally engage a bolt. The tool module also includes an actuator disposed between the tool and the frame so that actuation of the actuator moves the tool with respect to the frame. The frame is removably disposed on the structure, and the tool is movable with respect to the frame, so that, at each of a plurality of positions, the second end of the tool is capable of engagement with a respective bolt disposed in an internal support structure of a nuclear reactor vessel.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2018Date of Patent: April 6, 2021Inventors: Benjamin D. Publication number: 20150027499Abstract: A lancing crawler or head crawls along a no-tube lane (NTL) on a floor defining a reference plane oriented transverse to tubes of a steam generator, and has nozzles that generate lancing fluid jets along at least two different angles in the reference plane spaced apart by at least 45°. A rotational drive rotates the nozzles about an axis of rotation that may be offset from an axis of thrust imposed by the jets from the nozzles. An on-board sighting laser may be mounted with the nozzles, along with an on-board camera. A bladder expands to secure the lancing crawler or head between steam generator tubes adjacent the NTL. Each nozzle may include a taperlock seat. A nozzle tilt drive is configured to tilt the one or more nozzles respective to the reference plane.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2014Publication date: January 29, 2015Inventors: Benjamin D. Patent number: 5624257Abstract: An appliance for repositioning the temporomandibular joint has a base portion and inner and other flanges which form upper and lower U-shaped channels for receiving the teeth of the upper and lower jaws. The inner flange has a central tab and a pair of slots on opposite sides of the tab to allow for lateral adjustment of the appliance. In an alternative embodiment, the appliance has ribs on the outer flange, to engage the teeth of the user.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 1994Date of Patent: April 29, 1997Inventor: Christopher J. Farrell

Patent number: 5259762Abstract: An oral appliance for repositioning the temporomandibular joint includes a base portion having a generally U-shaped form to follow the jaw and teeth of a user and front and rear flanges which define with the base portion upper and lower channels for receiving the teeth of the upper and lower jaws. The base portion is of asymmetrical form on either side of the appliance from the leading to the trailing end thereof so as to substantially occupy uneven spacing between the upper and lower jaws of the user and cause the lower jaw to move into substantial alignment with the upper jaw.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 1992Date of Patent: November 9, 1993Inventor: Christopher J. Patent number: 5156329Abstract: Methods and systems for testing the seals of container lids to the top portion of container bodies are provided. Testing the integrity of the seal is achieved by injecting fluid under pressure under the lid portion of the container and detecting if the lid bulges outwardly with respect to its at-rest position prior to injecting fluid. A container adapted to having the seal tested for leakage is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 1991Date of Patent: October 20, 1992Assignee: American National Can CompanyInventor: Christopher J. Patent number: 4974742Abstract: A container (20) suited to contain foodstuff has a handle assembly (41), a plastic body (22) and a metal closure (24) sealed to the plastic body (22) preferably by a double seam (60). The plastic seam ring (34) having a top portion (36) and inner and outer skirts (40, 38) descending therefrom is provided by itself or is mounted over the double seam (60) to conceal the metal of at least the double seam (60). A central panel (30) of the metal closure (24) bounded by a parting line (32) can be removed by the consumer to expose the contents of the container (20). The handle assembly (41) is attached to the inner skirt (40) at a base (76) and includes a central member (78) attached to the base (76). In storage, the handle assembly (41) is positioned within the inner skirt (40) of the seam ring (34). The handle assembly (41 ) and has two handles (80) that are attached to the central member (78) at hinges (86, 88).Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1990Date of Patent: December 4, 1990Assignee: American National Can CompanyInventors: Christopher J. Farrell, Thomas Hlobil

Patent number: 4940158Abstract: A microwavable container suited to contain foodstuff over long periods of time has a plastic body and a metal closure sealed to the plastic body preferably by a double seam. A plastic seam ring having a top portion and inner and outer skirts descending therefrom is provided by itself or is mounted over the double seam to conceal the metal of at least the double seam. Means are provided on the seam ring to secure the seam ring to the container body preferably such that it is not readily removable therefrom. A central portion of the metal closure bounded by a parting line can be removed by the consumer to expose the contents of the container. With the seam ring mounted on the container body, the inner edge of the seam ring is adjacent to the remaining metal edge after the inner panel has been removed from the closure to shield this edge and minimize the chance of cutting or scraping of the user's fingers when handling the container.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1987Date of Patent: July 10, 1990Assignee: American National Can CompanyInventors: Christopher J.
