    Abstract: A drive assembly has a transmission arrangement including a plurality of portions and a wire connecting the portions in the longitudinal direction while allowing limited pivotal movement of the portions transversely to the longitudinal direction. A guide tube guides the transmission arrangement around a curve, A drive motor pushes the transmission arrangement along the guide tube to cause the transmission arrangement to extend from the guide tube to apply a thrust drive force. The drive assembly can be used in a bath aid unit.
