  • Publication number: 20240316169
Abstract: Described herein are methods and compositions for directing an antibody response in a subject away from one or more first epitopes of an antigen (e.g., immunodominant epitopes of a vaccine antigen) and towards one or more second epitopes of the antigen by administering one or more antibodies targeting the one or more first epitopes of the antigen.

  • Publication number: 20240225653
Abstract: An occlusion device includes a balloon and a catheter. The occlusion device is configured to allow blood to pass through the balloon, instead of around the balloon. By allowing the blood to pass through the balloon, constant traction against the vessel wall is achieved, regardless of flow rate, thereby mitigating distal migration. The balloon includes an orifice to allow blood flow through the balloon. The orifice is independent of the diameter of the vessel, therefore the effect of the diameter of the vessel changing during the procedure will not affect the flow rate of blood. The occlusion device enables finer titration of blood flow by varying the size of the orifice when compared to conventional solutions.

  • Publication number: 20240209047
Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of chronic wounds, and in particular to treatment of chronic wounds by via the use of growth factors conjugates that are immobilized in the wound. Specifically, the growth factor (GF) conjugates comprising a GF molecule covalently modified with a chemical moiety comprising a reactive functionality. Further disclosed arm GF molecules that are used for the conjugates and the chronic wounds can be treated using the GF conjugates.

  • Patent number: 10643294
Abstract: A system and method for storing and sequencing a plurality of luggage items. The method includes receiving at least one of the luggage items into a loading area from an entrance conveyor disposed in the loading area. Once received, the luggage items are moved from the entrance conveyor onto a shelf of a container with a loading assembly. The method continues with transporting the container from the loading area to the storage area with an automatic guided vehicle with the luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container. When the luggage items are ready to be processed, the method continues with transporting the first container from the storage area to the unloading area with the automatic guided vehicle with the received luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container.
