  • Patent number: 11585944
Abstract: A method of and a receiver for mitigating multipath interference in a global navigation satellite system. In accordance with an embodiment, GNSS signals are received from a plurality of satellites in at least two frequency bands. A likelihood indicator is determined which is indicative of how likely the received GNSS signals are affected by multipath interference. In response to the likelihood indicator, all GNSS signals from at least one frequency band of the at least two frequency bands are discounted. The received GNSS signals are processed by taking into account said discounting of all GNSS signals in the at least one frequency band. The discounting may include assigning less weight to the discounted frequency bands or disregarding each of the discounted frequency bands in their entirety.

  • Patent number: 5588878
Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector assembly (4) for application to a printed circuit board consists of an insulating housing (6) and spring contacts (8) received in cavities (9) in the housing. The cavities are T-shaped having a portion that is substantially rectangular, constant cross section from a contact receiving face (12) of the housing (6) up to a position proximate to a mating face (10) of the housing and a contact retention slot (15) along one side thereof. Each spring contact (8) consists of a forward leaf contact spring (32), an intermediate retention portion (33) with retention ears (48), and a rearward contact tail (34) for soldering to a conductor on the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5468156
Abstract: A system for locking a daughter board (100) in the header (10) of a mother board (14) without involving the daughter board connector (110). A pair of latch members (50) are disposed within latch-receiving cavities (34) of the header at each end and include latching projections that pass through notches (126) along side edges (124) of the daughter board for latching. Pivoting of the latch members (50) occurs by the daughter board (100) pushing on ejector feet (62) to pivot the latch members about cylindrical bosses (66) within cylindrical seats (36) along side walls (40) of cavities (34). Embossments (70) cooperate with detents (38,42) in cavity side walls (40) to retain the latch members in either the open or closed positions. Protruding actuating sections (58) permit latch member pivoting to unlatch from the daughter board, with ejector feet (62) initiating board removal movement.
