Publication number: 20240293886Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide methods and hybrid welder devices including a housing, an alternating current (“AC”) power input, a battery pack interface, a welding circuit, and an electronic controller. The housing including the battery pack interface and the AC power input. The battery pack interface receives a removable battery pack. The AC power input receives power from an AC power source and output an AC power output. The welding circuit provides power to a welding electrode using the AC power input. The electronic controller connected to the AC power source and the removable battery pack. The electronic controller receives power from the AC power source and determines whether the power from the AC power source exceeds a maximum power output threshold. The electronic controller also supplements the power provided to the welding circuit with power from the removable battery pack in response to the power exceeding the maximum output threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 1, 2024Publication date: September 5, 2024Inventors: Carl B. Westerby, Luke J. Skinner, Christopher J. Derksen, Brandon W. Nowicki, Ryan J. Denissen

Patent number: 11694243Abstract: A method begins by monitoring exchange item transactions occurring in an exchange item marketplace network. The method continues with generating trend information based on the monitored exchange item transactions and determining attributes for a targeted marketing program based on the trend information. The method continues with identifying a subset of buyer computing devices based on the attributes. The method continues by generating offer information based on the targeted marketing program and sending the offer information to the subset of buyer computing devices. When receiving a purchase request from a buyer computing device, the method continues by generating an exchange item request regarding an exchange item and sending the exchange item request to a branded server associated with the exchange item. The method includes receiving offer exchange item information from the branded server and sending at least a portion of the offer exchange item information to the buyer computing device.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2021Date of Patent: July 4, 2023Assignee: Raise Marketplace, LLCInventors: George Bousis, Milo Todorovich, Christopher J. Skinner, Josh K. Metnick

Publication number: 20230177575Abstract: A method for execution by a marketplace server includes receiving an exchange item acquisition request from a buyer computing device that is initiating a transaction with a point of sale device, where the request indicates an exchange item associated with a digital wallet of the buyer computing device is insufficient to complete the transaction during a first time period. The method further includes determining whether a second exchange item that would be sufficient to complete the transaction is available within a virtual marketplace of exchange items. When the second exchange item is unavailable, the method further includes exchanging new exchange item information with a corresponding brand server to obtain a new exchange item that is sufficient for completing the transaction. The method further includes issuing the new exchange item information to the buyer computing device, wherein the buyer computing device utilizes the new exchange item information to complete the transaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2023Publication date: June 8, 2023Applicant: Raise Marketplace, LLCInventors: Christopher J. Skinner, Alexander J. Griffiths

Patent number: 7363254Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated web ranking system. The system monitors online marketing media (“OMM”), such as search engines, portals, affiliate programs, and other websites displaying advertiser listings or banner advertisements to determine the effectiveness of an online marketing campaign. The system is able to track online and telephonic orders or sales to a particular marketing campaign. Based on the effectiveness of a particular marketing campaign, the system can automatically place bids for positioning of an advertiser's listing on a pay-per-click search engine or make a determination as to whether or not to turn on a banner advertisement at set cost.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2003Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Inventor: Christopher J. Skinner

Patent number: 7295996Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated web ranking system which enables advertisers to dynamically adjust pay-per-click bids to control advertising costs. The system tracks search terms which are used to market an advertiser's product or services in on line marketing media (“OMM”). The system determines the search term's effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data relating to the number of impressions, the number of clicks, and the number of resulting sales generated by a search term at a given time period. Based on the data collected and parameters which the advertiser provides relating to the advertiser's economic factors, the system calculates a maximum acceptable bid for each search term. The system monitors the web for competitor's bids on an advertiser's search term and places bids which fall below the maximum acceptable bid.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2002Date of Patent: November 13, 2007Inventor: Christopher J.
