  • Patent number: 12220656
Abstract: A removable inner frame assembly for use with a filter element and a main frame includes an inner frame, a bottom sealant layer, and a top sealant layer. The filter element has a lower edge extending from an outer perimeter of the filter element. The inner frame has a plurality of U-shaped sides. The first end of each side is connected to a second end of another side. The bottom sealant layer is affixed to a bottom surface of the bottom of each side of the inner frame. The bottom sealant layer is configured to allow the removable inner frame assembly to be releasably coupled to the main frame. The top sealant layer is located within the u-shaped channel formed by each side of the inner frame and is configured to receive the lower edge of the filter element.

  • Patent number: 11932907
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods, compositions, and kits for the early determination of the sex of a fetus. The disclosure also provides methods, compositions, and kits for detecting fetal nucleic acids in biological samples (e.g., cell-free fetal DNA). An embodiment includes a method of improving the accuracy of fetal sex determination by reducing a level of contaminating DNA in a blood sample from a pregnant human subject, comprising obtaining a capillary blood sample collected from the upper arm using a push-button blood collection device, thereby reducing a level of contaminating DNA from a non-maternal and non-fetal source in the capillary blood sample as compared to a blood sample collected from a site on the finger or hand of the subject, and detecting the presence or absence of fetal Y-chromosome to determine the sex of the fetus.

  • Patent number: 11576408
Abstract: An ice processing system may include a plurality of electrodes configured to create a time-varying electromagnetic field in a cavity, and a controller configured to oscillate a density of the electromagnetic field at a frequency which depends on the temperature of an object in the cavity. The frequency is selected based on a temperature of the object to establish and maintain a resonance condition of dipoles in ice crystals present in the object, such that the electromagnetic field tends to selectively heat ice substantially without heating liquid-phase water.

  • Patent number: 11551003
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for optimized graph traversal are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving a given phrase that is input through a user interface by a digital component provider. The actions further include determining an entity that is being referred to by the given phrase. The actions further include identifying properties of the entity. The actions further include selecting a subset of the properties that were identified for the entity. The actions further include identifying additional phrases. The actions further include updating the user interface to present at least some of the additional phrases with programmatic controls that assign one or more of the additional phrase as distribution criteria for digital components of the digital component provider in response to activation of the programmatic controls.

  • Publication number: 20220318386
Abstract: A report generated from analysis of a software sample is obtained and parsed. A root node of a causality tree is determined based on source-target relationships and a primary malware instance indicated in the report. Actions, behaviors, and additional malware instances are identified based on the report. Additional relationships among the data which are not explicitly represented are extracted from further parsing and processing of the report by tracing the relationships in the report data starting from the data of the entity represented by the root node, with child nodes added for processes and files discovered from the tracing. For each entity for which a node is added to the causality tree, counts of the related behaviors and actions are determined and associated with the node along with the corresponding details. A GUI depiction of the resulting causality tree is generated and displayed for visualizing and navigating the causality tree.

  • Patent number: 10832463
Abstract: Techniques are described for efficient label insertion and collision handling. A bounding geometry for a label to be graphically displayed on a display screen as part of an electronic map is determined, wherein the bounding geometry comprises a circle. The bounding geometry is inserted into a grid index, wherein the grid index represents a viewport of the electronic map. Disjoint regions of the grid index intersected by the bounding geometry are identified, wherein each disjoint region represents a different portion of the viewport. For each intersected disjoint region, it is identified whether there is at least one collision between the bounding geometry and one or more existing bounding geometries in the disjoint region; and responsive to identifying whether there is at least one collision in the intersected disjoint region, a target opacity of the label is set.
