  • Patent number: 10633177
Abstract: A device for manually compacting waste, including a support plate and left-hand and right-hand lateral uprights secured to the support plate and delimiting a central space to accept a waste container. The device also includes a left-hand lever fixed pivotingly to the left-hand lateral upright about a pivot axis, and a right-hand lever fixed pivotingly to the right-hand lateral upright about a pivot axis, with the pivot axes arranged parallel to one another. The device further includes a thrust bar having a lower end fixed to a compression plate and connected to the left-hand and/or right-hand lever by a connector capable of sliding along the left-hand and/or right-hand lever to act on the thrust bar under lever action so as to move toward/away from the ground to allow the compression plate to be brought closer to and respectively further away from the support plate from a position of equilibrium.

  • Patent number: 10293192
Abstract: A hydraulic implement (1) for portable use includes a hydraulic pump (2), a pump housing (10), a hydraulic cylinder (3) with a piston rod (11), a hydraulic tank (4), hydraulic lines, a compensating device, a manually operable hydraulic control valve (8), a rechargeable battery (9) which is accommodated on the implement (1), and two tool halves (16, 17) that are connected to the piston rod (11) via pivoting arms (12, 13). Each tool half (16, 17) has a wall section (20, 21) that extends perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11). When the tool halves are closed, both wall sections (20, 21) together form a flattened end region (24) that runs perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11).

  • Publication number: 20170362027
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for manually compacting waste contained in a container, including a frame having a support plate that is intended to be positioned and/or fastened to the ground, and two lateral uprights, a left-hand lateral upright and a right-hand lateral upright, respectively, that are secured to the support plate and extend perpendicularly thereto, with the support plate and the lateral uprights delimiting a central space that is able to receive a container containing waste. The device also includes two manually actuable levers, namely a left-hand lever fastened to the left-hand lateral upright so as to pivot about a left-hand pivot axis and a right-hand lever fastened to the right-hand lateral upright so as to pivot about a right-hand pivot axis, with the left-hand and right-hand pivot axes being parallel and defining a plane parallel to a plane defined by the support plate.

  • Patent number: 7189068
Abstract: A rotary vane compressor having features for reducing sound emitted from the compressor during operation. The sound reduction features include and relate to specific components of the compressor. Specifically the features relate to (1) the compressor motor; (2) a non-vented motor housing and back or closure; (3) the inlet ring; (4) the bearing system; (5) the rotor and vane positioning and vane weight or mass; (6) the mass of the body within which the rotor and vane rotate; and (7) a shroud which surrounds the body which is solid and non-vented solid and may be formed of a laminated material having a sound dampening core layer.
