  • Publication number: 20190144008
Abstract: A rail vehicle having a vehicle frame supported on on-track undercarriages and a hydraulic drive system powered by a motor. The drive system comprises a hydrodynamic drive associated with a first on-track undercarriage as well as a hydrostatic drive associated with a second on-track undercarriage. With the latter is associated a drive pump connected to a drive motor. The motor is designed for a higher power output than is necessary for the operation of the hydrodynamic drive. A pump distribution gear is switched between the motor and the hydrodynamic drive, via which the drive pump of the hydrostatic drive can be connected. This takes place in dependence on a friction value ? between the rail and wheel.

  • Publication number: 20180347651
Abstract: The invention relates to a disk brake for a utility vehicle, comprising a brake caliper, which extends over a brake disk and which is slidably held on at least one guide bar, which is connected to a stationary brake bracket by means of a screw, wherein the screw is fed through the guide bar, is designed in such a way that the guide bar has impressing elements, which are formed on the end face of the guide bar that lies against the brake bracket, at least in a circumferential and/or radial partial region, which impressing elements engage into the brake bracket in an impressed manner in such a way that an interlocking connection and/or a frictional connection is formed.

  • Publication number: 20180029582
Abstract: A brake cylinder of a motor vehicle, in particular a pneumatically actuatable brake cylinder of a commercial vehicle, includes a first housing part and a second housing part. An actuation tappet actuates a brake lever of a brake application device, which actuation tappet protrudes from a spring chamber of the first housing part. A membrane, which divides an interior bounded by the first housing part and the second housing part into a pressure chamber and the spring chamber, is provided, as well as a return spring for returning the actuation tappet from a braking position to a non-braking position. The return spring is arranged in a loaded manner between a housing bottom of the first housing part and a plate, which is arranged on the spring chamber side of the membrane and is connected to the actuation tappet. The return spring is provided with at least one elongation-measuring element.

  • Publication number: 20160273102
Abstract: A tape-substrate coating line has a vacuum chamber formed by chamber walls and a device, disposed in the vacuum chamber, for surface treatment of a tape substrate. The device includes a process temperature-control roller having a cylindrical lateral face. At least one part-circumference of the lateral face is enclosed by a processing space which has an arrangement of compartments delimited by separation wall elements. At least one coating installation is disposed in at least one compartment, and includes a conveying installation for conveying the tape substrate over the lateral face. The size, number and arrangement of the compartments are variable in that each separation wall element is attachable to one of a plurality of predefined positions within the processing space.

  • Publication number: 20140276234
Abstract: Uterine sounds are provided including an insertion member having a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen, wherein the insertion member is configured for insertion through an endocervical canal. A measurement member is provided having a distal end and a proximal end, the measurement member configured to move within the lumen of the insertion member, where the distal end can protrude from the distal end of the insertion member and is configured for insertion to approximately the fundus of a uterine cavity. An expansion member is also provided transitionable between an unexpanded and expanded state, wherein the unexpanded position is configured to pass an internal cervical os, and the expanded position is configured to prevent passage. Once the expansion member is positioned, the measurement member is positioned relative to the insertion member to establish a measurement of a depth of the uterine cavity.
