  • Publication number: 20230105585
Abstract: An injection device includes a carrier, a needle, a driver coupled to the needle, the driver being slidable relative to the carrier between a retracted configuration and a deployed configuration, a shuttle configured to move the driver between the retracted configuration and the deployed configuration, and a stop configured to move from a first configuration to a second configuration, wherein the stop is configured to maintain the driver in the deployed configuration, and movement of the stop from the first configuration to the second configuration allows the shuttle to move the driver from the deployed configuration to the retracted configuration.

  • Publication number: 20070081802
Abstract: A vaporizer for providing water vapor at a safer and reduced temperature comprises a water tank and steam generating unit. The steam generating unit is an assembly of a multi-walled chamber, top cover portion and safety grill. The safety grill establishes a distance between a water vapor outlet situated on the top cover portion and the point where an individual may contact the water vapor. This distance allows the temperature of the water vapor to be reduced to a safer temperature. Additionally, the vaporizer includes a condensation recycling port that receives water vapor droplets that form about the steam generating unit and returns those droplets to a boiling chamber where the water droplets are recycled into water vapor. Finally, the top cover portion includes a water barrier to protect electrical components near the water vapor outlet.

  • Publication number: 20050016989
Abstract: According to the present invention, a heating pad controller incorporating a discrete ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) is provided which varies the duty cycle characteristics of a periodic signal during which power is applied to a heating pad heating element during a portion of the signal (“on” time). An oscillator circuit is used to produce a controlled duty cycle control signal for controlling the power applied to the heating pad by varying the on-time of the duty cycle. User control of the length of the on-time of the duty cycle is provided by way of a user controlled switch, thereby providing for a plurality of controller operating modes (e.g., WARM, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, etc.). To configure the duty cycle for each heat setting the heating pad controller utilizes switchable electrical components of varying impedance connected to the ASIC.
