  • Patent number: 12184299
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a set of N unit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) having a common architecture, and which provide an aggregate data rate. Moreover, the integrated circuit includes control logic that selects subsets of the set of N unit ADCs in order to realize sub-ADCs of different data rates that can each be an arbitrary integer multiple of an inverse of N times the aggregate data rate of the N unit ADCs. Furthermore, the control logic may dynamically select the subsets on the fly or on a frame-by-frame basis. This dynamically selection may occur at boot time and/or a runtime. Additionally, the given different data rate may correspond to one or more phases of a multi-phase clock in the integrated circuit, where the multiphase clock may include a number of phases corresponding to a number of possible subsets, and given selected subsets may not use all of the available phases.

  • Publication number: 20240298899
Abstract: An optical coherence tomography scanning system traverses its respective scan pattern quickly, typically completing an entire two-dimensional frame faster than a conventional raster scanner completes one raster line segment. To traverse the scan pattern quickly, the system takes fewer A-scans per length of scan pattern than a conventional OCT scanner. To compensate for the sparsity of the sample points along the respective scan line segments, and for gaps between respective line segments of the trajectory, the system acquires and combines several partially overlapping frames for each study.

  • Patent number: 11846921
Abstract: A system provides feedback driven end-to-end state control of a data model. A data model may be used to model the behavior of a petrochemical refinery to predict future events. The system may be used to ensure proper operation of the data model. Contingency data models may be executed when a failure is detected. Further, when the system detects accuracy that is out of tolerance, the system may initiate retraining of the data model being currently used.

  • Patent number: 11111748
Abstract: Milling systems, tools, and methods include using a mill with secondary attrition system to re-mill cuttings and other debris away from the face of the mill. The secondary attrition system may be located uphole of the mill may be used to stage conditioning and re-sizing of debris. After debris is generated by the mill, the secondary attrition system may re-mill the debris to a finer size before allowing the debris to pass out of the sleeve. The debris may be re-milled by secondary cutting elements while within an annular gap positioned radially between the sleeve and a drive shaft for the mill. The annular gap may have a variable width as a result of a tapered outer surface of the drive shaft and/or a tapered inner surface of the sleeve. The variable width may cause debris to be re-milled into increasingly finer sizes.

  • Patent number: 10830900
Abstract: A method for pointing an antenna at an inclined geostationary satellite includes obtaining an analemma of the inclined geostationary satellite, and determining a plurality of points that are to be searched, wherein determining the plurality of points comprises selecting points that follow a centerline of the analemma. One point of the plurality of points is selected and the antenna is pointed at the selected point. While the antenna is pointing at the selected point, the inclined geostationary satellite is queried an RF power level of a response to the query received from the inclined geostationary satellite is recorded. Another point of the plurality of points and the query/recording step is repeated for each of the plurality of points. A determination is made regarding which point of the plurality of points produced a response to the query having the highest power level. The antenna then is pointed at the point having the highest power level.

  • Patent number: 10762253
Abstract: Increases in global population have led to unprecedented challenges in meeting every day needs. Vehicle parking is one such challenge given the limited parking spaces available at any destination, whether at work, at a shopping center, or any other location. A parking resource analysis system includes a stepwise simulator system and a role based access system. The stepwise simulator system tests, simulates, and tunes specific models for issuing parking control actions with respect to a specific lot. The role based access system may be physically located at the parking lot. The role based access system implements dynamic loading or dynamic access of role specific models for issuing parking control actions tailored to the role of the particular individual searching for a parking space.
