  • Patent number: 10825626
Abstract: According to one or more aspects, a health sense system for a pulse width modulation (PWM) device associated with a magnetic coil is provided, and includes a health sense circuit, a health logic circuit, and a counter circuit. The health sense circuit measures one or more current measurements at a low voltage side of the pulse width modulation device. The health logic circuit determines a health bit indicative of a health score for the magnetic coil of the pulse width modulation device based on one or more of the current measurements. The counter circuit generates a feedback command for the pulse width modulation device based on the health bit.

  • Patent number: 10497527
Abstract: A modular auxiliary switch includes a housing including a first housing part and a separate second housing part secured to the first housing part. A printed circuit board is housed in one of the first and second housing parts, and has a first side facing the first housing part and a second opposite side facing the second housing part. An actuator mechanism is housed in the first housing part and is coupled to the printed circuit board. A separate first electrical contactor is selectively mounted to the printed circuit board so that a first electrical contact surface of the first electrical contactor overlaps and is in direct contact with one of the first side and the second side to define a first electrical contact pad on the printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 10395874
Abstract: An auxiliary switch includes a housing including a first housing part and a second housing part separate from and releasably connected to the first housing part. A printed circuit board is fixedly mounted within the housing and has an electrical pad and an electrical contact connected to the electrical pad. A terminal conductor is electrically connected to the printed circuit board. An actuator mechanism is mounted within the housing and has an electrical contactor engaged to the terminal conductor. The actuator mechanism is configured to move within the housing and at least partially displace the electrical contact while maintaining engagement between the contactor and the terminal conductor.

  • Patent number: 9928982
Abstract: A switching assembly includes an operating assembly and a fixed contact assembly including a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a third fixed contact, a fourth fixed contact, and a number of terminals. The number of terminals includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The switching assembly also includes a movable contact assembly that includes a first movable contact and a second movable contact. The first movable contact is movable between a first position and a second position. The second movable contact is movable between a first position and a second position. The operating assembly is coupled to the movable contact assembly and moves the first and second movable contact assemblies between the first and second positions. The switching assembly also includes a shunt assembly including a number of shunts. The shunt assembly is configured in one of a series configuration or a parallel configuration.

  • Patent number: 9343215
Abstract: A solenoid includes a magnetic frame, a bobbin having a length, a hold coil, a pick up coil having a length, a fixed pole, a movable armature having a length, and a return spring biasing the armature away from the pole. The solenoid includes a pick up state when the armature and the pole are separated by a magnetic gap, and a holding state when the armature and the pole are proximate each other. The pick up coil is wound around the bobbin for a portion of the length of the bobbin and the hold coil is wound around the bobbin for a remaining portion of the length of the bobbin. The length of the pick up coil is about the same as the length of the armature and is less than the length of the bobbin.
