  • Patent number: 8268813
Abstract: This invention is directed generally to zilpaterol enantiomer compositions, and, in particular, to compositions comprising the 6R,7R zilpaterol enantiomer. This invention is also directed to processes for making such compositions; methods for using such compositions to, for example, increase the rate of weight gain, improve feed efficiency, and/or increase carcass leanness in livestock, poultry, and/or fish; and uses of such compositions to make medicaments. This invention is further directed to methods for determining the absolute configurations of zilpaterol enantiomers.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20120228864
Abstract: The wheel tracks (see FIG. 6) of a self propelled center pivot irrigation system can be moved by using the natural movement of the center pivot. This is accomplished by locking the primary pivot point (see FIG. 1) and unlocking the offset secondary pivot point (see FIGS. 7,8) and allowing the natural movement of a center pivot to rotate the top elbow of the offset secondary pivot point. Once the top elbow of the offset secondary pivot point reaches the desired setting (see FIGS. 7,8) the offset secondary pivot point can be locked and the primary pivot point unlocked. This will allow normal center pivot operation with the drive units (see FIG. 2) running on a new track. (see FIGS.

  • Publication number: 20080249298
Abstract: Heparinoid derivatives comprising a chelating agent which is covalently bonded to the heparinoid, and a paramagnetic metal cation from the series of transition metals Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Mo, Ru or of the lanthanides, are suitable for producing medicaments both for therapy and for diagnostic purposes, for localizing the dose employed, and for monitoring the result of treatment of disorders such as thrombosis and osteoarthrosis.

  • Publication number: 20020128226
Abstract: This present invention discloses inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases, and novel methods of their use. The inhibitors may be useful for treating conditions that involve enhanced activity of at least one of the matrix metalloproteinases neutrophil collagenase (MMP-8), aggrecanase, hADAMTS1, and gelatinase A (MMP-2). Such disorders may include, but are not limited to, degenerative joint disorders (e.g., osteoarthroses), spondyloses, chondrolysis associated with joint trauma or prolonged joint immobilization (often occurring after meniscus or patellar injuries or ligament tears), connective tissue disorders (e.g., collagenoses), wound healing disturbances, periodontal disorders, chronic disorders of the locomotor system (e.g., inflammatory, immunologically, or metabolism-related acute and chronic arthritides), arthropathies, myalgias, or disturbances of bone metabolism.
