  • Publication number: 20080009687
Abstract: A coiled bio-medical device has a base layer coiled to form a plurality of concentric cylinders. The base layer comprises an inner surface. The coiled bio-medical includes a bio-sensor arranged on the inner surface of the base layer. The bio-sensor is adapted to collect bio-medical data from an organism. A transmitter is arranged on the inner surface of the base layer and is adapted to transmit the collected bio-medical data.

  • Publication number: 20070117392
Abstract: A device includes a coiling layer, a circuit device layer and active microelectronic circuitry fabricated on the circuit device layer. The coiling layer is formed onto a surface of and coupled to the circuit device layer. The coiling layer having intrinsic stresses which cause coiling of the coiling layer and the circuit device layer including the microelectronic circuitry as the circuit device layer is released from an underlying substrate. A coiled circuit device is formed.

  • Patent number: 7102472
Abstract: A MEMS device having a support frame positioned on a substrate surrounding a first electrode. A rigid flange portion at the top of the support frame is closely space from, and is connected to, a second electrode by relatively short spring members. RF conductors connected to respective first and second electrodes complete an RF switch. A dielectric layer on the first electrode forms a capacitive type device and includes an electrostatic shield layer on its surface. This electrostatic shield layer is connected to ground by a multi megohm bleeder resistance.

  • Publication number: 20060141318
Abstract: The invention provides a fuel cell metallic separator, wherein the metallic plate's edges include a resin portion comprising the communication ports. The resin portion around the communication ports is shaped so as to be capable of interlocking with a fuel cell stack component adjacently located in a fuel cell system. The invention also provides a resin portion capable of press fitting or thermal bonding with adjacent a fuel cell stack components.

  • Publication number: 20060138604
Abstract: An improved dielectric suitable for use in electronic and micro-electromechanical (MEMS) components. The dielectric includes silicon nitride having a percentage of Si:H bonds greater than a percentage of N:H bonds, in order to reduce the level of charge trapping of the silicon nitride.
