  • Publication number: 20230321489
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure describes a system for providing continuous and progressive auditory feedback based on real-time orthopedic sensor data, which includes a plurality of plantar pressure sensors, an audio output device, and a mobile device. The mobile device receives receive, from at least one of the plantar pressure sensors, one or more sensor values indicative of an actual movement of a user during a training session. The mobile device determines, based on an evaluation of the sensor values, a similarity of the actual movement to a target movement. The mobile device modifies, as a function of the similarity of the actual movement to the target movement, an auditory feedback, and causes the audio output device to output the auditory feedback.

  • Publication number: 20230019859
Abstract: A cannula apparatus (100) and method are provided for selective fluid flow in removal and return directions. An outer sheath (102) has proximal (104) and distal (106) outer sheath ends spaced apart by a longitudinal outer sheath body (108) defining an outer sheath lumen (110). At least one fluid removal aperture (112) extends through the outer sheath body. The outer sheath includes a side access aperture (114). An introducer (1534) has proximal (1536) and distal (1538) introducer ends spaced apart by a longitudinal introducer body (1540), which at least partially defines a guidewire channel (1542) longitudinally therealong. The introducer is configured for insertion into the outer sheath lumen with the guidewire channel in fluid communication with the side access aperture. An inner tube (218) has proximal (220) and distal (222) inner tube ends.

  • Publication number: 20060090009
Abstract: An implementation of trick mode methodology receives a first request to stream media for presentation at a first normal playback rate; streams a first media stream configured to the first normal playback rate; receives a second request to stream the media for presentation at a second greater playback rate; and performs one of the following responsive to receiving the second request: switching from streaming the first media stream to streaming from an appropriate position in a second media stream that corresponds to the second greater playback rate; or in an event that a second media stream corresponding to the second greater playback rate is not available, then streaming the first media stream at a higher bit rate in an attempt to comply with the second request.

  • Publication number: 20050121057
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for disinfecting shopping carts. In one embodiment, the system comprises a treatment station for applying a disinfectant to a shopping cart and a conveyor system for transporting carts relative to the treatment station at two different speeds so as to effect a nesting operation. In another embodiment, the system comprises a treatment station that is comprised of a first modular unit and a second modular unit that each perform different functions but can readily joined to one another to form a treatment station with the desired features for a particular application. In yet another embodiment, certain features of the modular units are symmetrical relative to a lateral plane to facilitate the joining of the units to one another in different orders. A further embodiment comprises a treatment station with a molded structure.
