  • Publication number: 20240356213
Abstract: The invention points a beam of an electromagnetic frequency to any point in space without blocking its optical axis, capable of generating a spherical radiation pattern, approximately doubling the angular range compared to all directional antenna systems. Emulating a perfect isotropic radiator which until now, was considered impossible, it uses standard motion control and telecommunication technology.

  • Publication number: 20070011946
Abstract: Double-hung window actuators exhibiting one or more of several beneficial features are disclosed. They can include bidirectional linear drive mechanisms sized to fit at least partially inside channels defined at least in part by the jamb runs of a movable sash. These drive mechanisms can be built around a right mounting support of adequate stiffness to support the mechanism independent of external support. Sash pin interfaces can interact with sash pins on the window. Actuation load sensors can detect changes in loading of the actuators, and an edge sensor can be electrically connected to the drive mechanisms. The actuators can be housed in a housing that includes a window apron for mounting below the window.

  • Patent number: 4875520
Abstract: A rotary regenerative heat wheel having a heat exchange matrix comprised of a spirally wound strip of plastic having a coating of dry desiccant affixed thereto. The quantity of desiccant affixed to the strip is selected so that the sensible and latent heat transfer efficiencies of the wheel are relatively high and approximately equal. An apparatus and method are disclosed for applying a desiccant coating to a sheet of plastic.
