Abstract: A lift for aircraft, such as a passenger lift, facilitates the entry of disabled passengers and/or items into the cabins of aircraft and their exit from the cabins of the aircraft. The lift may be stowed and used from within the cabin of the aircraft. Methods accessing a cabin of an aircraft and methods for facilitating the introduction of passengers and/or items into the cabin and their removal from the cabin are also disclosed.
