  • Patent number: 10632357
Abstract: A swing training apparatus comprising a frame having one or more sections for guiding a swing of a user; a first support member coupled to a side of the frame and suspending the side of the frame above ground; and a second support member coupled to an opposite side of the frame and suspending the opposite side of the frame above ground, and wherein the first support member and the second support member together are operable to suspend the frame above the ground at a predetermined angle.

  • Publication number: 20100061592
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing the movement and structure of an object (14) having a display for the object using an indicator point (9) located at the center of the object, a cube (2) having a reference point (10) located thereon, and superimposing the cube over said object wherein the object is placed within the cube wherein the indicator point is centered with the reference point on the cube and a means for analyzing movement and structure of said object to be analyzed. The movement and structure of the object is analyzed by creating reference lines (11), reference circles (12) and reference triangles (13) at predetermined angles and distances in relationship to the cube to create a geometric grid (1) which then may be used as a measuring and graphing tool.

  • Patent number: 5830079
Abstract: A swing stance and movement training apparatus (1) primarily for golf, but also for baseball and other swinging sports, having a buttocks bar (7), a rear hip bar (9) and rear knee brace (11) mounted on vertical supports (3 and 5, 10a and 10b, and 15a and 15b respectively) at a height to abut a particular user's buttocks, hip and knees during a swing. The height of the buttocks bar (7), hip bar (9) and knee brace (11) may be adjustable by telescopically or slidably engaged top and bottom sections. The knee brace (11) may be further adjusted forward and backward by use of sliding plates (12, 13). The apparatus may be permanently positioned by installing the vertical supports (3, 5, 10a, 10b) in or to a surface. However, preferably it would be made portable by attaching the vertical supports to a platform (2) on which the user stands. The buttocks and hip bars and knee brace may be interconnected by cross bars (25) and floor bars (26, 4) between the vertical supports.

  • Patent number: 5370236
Abstract: A separator apparatus to separate less dense particulate material from dense particulate material has a tank for containing fluid which has sidewalls and a sloping bottom with upper and lower ends. A vertically oriented housing is secured to the tank and has an upper and lower end with the lower end being in the tank and the upper end extending above the tank. An auger means is mounted within the housing and extends the substantial length thereof. A discharge location is located in the tank adjacent the lower end of the bottom for removing dense objects therefrom. The housing has a discharge location at its upper end for discharging the less dense objects lifted from the tank by the auger apparatus. A spout is located at the discharge location for the housing and has a spout that has a wall tangential to the cylindrical housing for quickly and easily receiving less dense objects from the outer periphery of the helical flighting.

  • Patent number: 5364539
Abstract: The device of the present invention removes suspended solids from a liquid medium, such as particles in an oil-based sludge. The device includes a filter chamber having an inlet for introducing liquid into the chamber, with the liquid containing suspended solids. The chamber also has an outlet for releasing filtered liquid which is substantially free from suspended solids. The liquid coming into the chamber is forced through a filter element to remove the suspended solids therefrom. The removed solids are compressed in the chamber by a reciprocating piston. When a sufficient quantity of suspended solids accumulate within the chamber, a discharge valve is opened and the compressed solids are discharged from the chamber. The device is operated automatically by a computer, which controls a series of operation cycles, including normal filtering operation, compression of solids, purging of solids, and cleansing of the filter element.
