    Abstract: An analog joystick for a game machine controller is provided that is disposed as a pendulum that depends downwardly from the operating device housing so that inclination of the housing from its prescribed home orientation effects the contact conventionally afforded by digital manipulation. In a preferred embodiment, a length of the joystick and/or a weighted portion of the joystick can be adjusted or replaced so as to alter an inclination sensitivity of the operating device.
