  • Publication number: 20240157940
Abstract: As part of a start-up sequence, a controller of a machine causes one or more activation components of a battery of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more electrical components associated with the battery to be enabled, then causes one or more non-accumulator components of a hydraulic system to be enabled, then causes one or more accumulator components of the hydraulic system to charge, and then causes one or more propulsion components to be enabled. As part of a shut-down sequence, the controller causes the one or more propulsion components to be disabled, then causes the one or more accumulator components of the hydraulic system to bleed, then causes the one or more non-accumulator components of the hydraulic system to be disabled, and then causes the one or more electrical components associated with the battery to be disabled.

  • Publication number: 20240157798
Abstract: A controller of a machine identifies that a battery of the machine is connected to an electrical power connector component. The controller then causes one or more charging components of the battery of the machine to be enabled, then cause one or more electrical components associated with the battery of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more cooling components of the machine to be enabled, then causes one or more propulsion components of the machine to be disabled, then causes one or more accumulator components of a hydraulic system of the machine to bleed, and then causes one or more non-accumulator components of the hydraulic system of the machine to be enabled. In this way, the controller causes the battery of the machine to enter into a charging state.

  • Patent number: 11973572
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for providing end-to-end beamforming. For example, end-to-end beamforming systems include end-to-end relays and ground networks to provide communications to user terminals located in user beam coverage areas. The ground segment can include geographically distributed access nodes and a central processing system. Return uplink signals, transmitted from the user terminals, have multipath induced by a plurality of receive/transmit signal paths in the end to end relay and are relayed to the ground network. The ground network, using beamformers, recovers user data streams transmitted by the user terminals from return downlink signals. The ground network, using beamformers generates forward uplink signals from appropriately weighted combinations of user data streams that, after relay by the end-end-end relay, produce forward downlink signals that combine to form user beams.

  • Patent number: 11934322
Abstract: A system comprises a storage system comprising one or more storage devices and a storage controller operatively coupled to the storage system, the storage controller comprising a processing device, the processing device to receive first raw data from a first tenant of the storage system to a first non-volatile memory express (NVMe) input/output (I/O) queue of the storage system. The processing device further to determine that the first NVMe I/O queue corresponds to a first key, wherein the first key corresponds to the first tenant. The processing device further to encrypt the first raw data using the first key to generate first encrypted data. The processing device further to store the first encrypted data on the storage system.

  • Patent number: 11913495
Abstract: A bearing and/or seal assembly where pressurized gas (e.g., air) may be arranged to produce a contact-free bearing and/or seal is provided. The assembly includes a permeable body (12) including structural features (13) selectively engineered to convey a pressurized gas (Ps) from an inlet side (20) side of the permeable body to an outlet side (22) of the permeable body to form an annular film of the pressurized gas relative to the rotatable shaft. Disclosed embodiments may be produced by way of three-dimensional (3D) Printing/Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies with practically no manufacturing variability; and may also cost-effectively and reliably benefit from the relatively complex geometries and the features and/or conduits that may be involved to, for example, form the desired distribution pattern or impart a desired directionality to the pressurized gas conveyed through the permeable body of the bearing and/or seal assembly.

  • Publication number: 20190051411
Abstract: A decision making platform includes a data extraction circuit that interprets electronic medical records (EMRs), and a data conditioning circuit that determines an aggregated patient data set from the EMRs. The platform includes a patient readmission prediction circuit that determines a readmission risk for a patient, and a reporting circuit that provides a readmission response value. The platform further includes a clinical dashboard circuit that implements a transitions of care dashboard having: a user interface accessible to an external computing device, a time selection interface, and a display of at least a part of the readmission response value using a selection from the time selection interface.

  • Patent number: 9666194
Abstract: A recording and entertainment system is provided. A mobile kiosk is capable or being outfitted with one or more cameras for capturing visual content, an audio recording system, a display device, a computer to control recording, storing, processing, and playing the captured visual and audio content. The captured video and audio are then processed and edited to produce remembrance products in various forms, including videos. Karaoke function is provided by a means for recognizing songs being performed and displaying lyrics on the display. Camera tilt, noise suppression, noise cancelation, voice control of the computer, a battery pack to free kiosk for movement, means for internet communication of the visual and audio content, means for confirming that objects of the visual content capture are within the field of view, robotic control of the kiosk, and interactive gaming means are additional features that can be utilized with the system.
