  • Patent number: 11966826
Abstract: One or more default protected attribute values may be determined for a prediction model trained based on training data including a plurality of training observations. Each of the plurality of training observations may include a respective plurality of training data values corresponding with a plurality of features. Each of the plurality of training observations may also include a respective target value. Each of the plurality of training observations may include a respective protected attribute value corresponding with a protected attribute feature. A request to determine a designated predicted target value for a designated inference observation may be received after determining the one or more default protected attribute values. The predicted target value may be determined by applying the prediction model to an inference observation and a designated default protected attribute value of the one or more default protected attribute values.

  • Patent number: 11941107
Abstract: Some examples described herein relate to computer interfaces and authentication protocols for securely linking and transferring content between online accounts. In one example, a system can provide a graphical user interface (GUI) with multiple interactive interface pages, through which a user can selectively transfer content from a first online account to a second online account. For example, the user can select to transfer points from the first online account to the second online account. The system can then transfer of the selected content from the first online account to the second online account. To perform this transfer, the system can employ multiple layers of authentication and other security mechanisms. For example, the system can employ two or more layers of authentication and a unique external identifier to perform the transfer. Following the transfer, the GUI can be updated to reflect the results of the transfer.

  • Publication number: 20240074657
Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a novel angle-closure detection method for risk assessment of primary angle closure (PAC) or primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) to inform treatment decisions. According to certain embodiments, a plurality of cross-sectional images of the anterior segment of an eye centered at the pupil with preferably even radial separations are obtained from optical coherence tomography imaging. After identifying the position of scleral spur from the cross-sectional image captured at each angle-location, the anterior chamber angles are analyzed. Each angle-location of the eye is classified as (i) closed angle, (ii) narrow angle, or (iii) open angle. The extents of narrow angles and closed angles among all angle-locations across the 360° radial space are computed. Based on the extents of narrow angles and closed angles, a regression model is applied to compute the risk of PAC/PACG development.

  • Patent number: 11922195
Abstract: Some embodiments support embedding of a notebooks software component in a surrounding host application, thereby promoting consistency of notebook user interfaces and user experiences between different kinds of applications. For instance, the notebook access added to an integrated development environment (IDE) may be aesthetically consistent with the notebook access added to a business analytics tool from the same vendor as the IDE. Departures from the aesthetic are still supported, e.g., a notebook access provided in a video gaming environment to teach gamers programming skills may have the same aesthetic as the simulated world of the video game, rather than an IDE aesthetic or an enterprise software aesthetic. Direct integration or proxied integration architectures may be used. Efficiencies may be gained by distinguishing between notebook viewing, editing, and executing operations, and providing more computationally expensive resources only as needed for the notebook access being performed.

  • Patent number: 10496780
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for processing layout designs based on dynamically-generated lithographic models. Lithographic models are determined for a plurality of regions of a reticle prior to lithographic simulation. During lithographic simulation, lithographic models for a small area within a particular region are generated based on the lithographic models for the particular region, the lithographic models for one or more neighboring regions, and location information of the small area relative to the region and to the one or more neighboring regions. The lithography models comprise illuminating and imaging system models and mask electro-magnetic field models.

  • Publication number: 20140057860
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and the method of preparation thereof. The aforesaid pharmaceutical composition is prepared by the following components in weight percent: 0.1%-0.3% scutellarin, 20%-25% co-surfactant, 40-50% surfactant, and 25-30% oil. The method of preparing the aforesaid pharmaceutical composition comprises the steps of: (1) dispersing scutellarin in co-surfactant and surfactant to obtain a mixture; (2) dispersing the mixture from step (1) in oil, and thermostatically and magnetically stirring the dispersion mixture under the temperature of 25° C. to 37° C., such that the components thereof are completely dissolved to obtain the pharmaceutical composition. Through the use of the selected pharmaceutical adjuvants having the ability to inhibit MRP2, the aforesaid pharmaceutical composition effectively improves absorption and bioavailability of scutellarin.

  • Patent number: 6806786
Abstract: Techniques to select the proper frequency band for use in a PLL from among multiple frequency bands of a multi-band VCO. The PLL comprises a detector, a loop filter, the multi-band VCO, and a control unit. The detector receives a first signal to be locked to and a second signal that is related to a VCO signal and provides a detector output. The loop filter filters the detector output to provide a control signal. The multi-band VCO selects one of the multiple frequency bands based on a select signal and provides the VCO signal at a frequency determined by the control signal. The control unit derives the select signal for the multi-band VCO based on information extracted from a third signal (e.g., a filtered version of the control signal) and a timing signal from a timer unit.
