  • Publication number: 20230176669
Abstract: Various devices (e.g., sensors and/or emitters) are disposed in a casing to form an ensemble are utilized to affect and/or control an environment of an enclosure (e.g., facility). A plurality of such ensembles may be disposed in the facility. Inter and/or intra coexistence issues may arise among the devices. Such coexistence is utilized and/or managed by a control and/or processing system. An ensemble may be integrated as a digital architectural element packaged as a capsule having a main body shell and a lid.

  • Patent number: 11653149
Abstract: A system for generating surround sound is disclosed. The system may be used for replicating a sonic space that can be reproduced around an end user listener. Applications may include general rebroadcasting of an event or use in a virtual reality setting. The sound captured may be live sound or a recorded sound. The system includes microphones positioned in multiple positions on or proximate an audio source subject. Speakers are positioned relative to each other in a cuboctahedral arrangement around an acoustic point of reference. An audio processing unit connected wirelessly to the microphones processes individual signals from the microphones and transmits the individual signals to the plurality of speakers.

  • Patent number: 11304516
Abstract: A mounting system utilizing multidirectional pivoting, retracting, extending, and vertical lift to allow it to fit longer items diagonally into truck beds, cargo vehicles, mobile trailers, or other vehicles; and making moving or removing the equipment stored therein much easier. The mounting system is also designed to be installed inside the bed of a truck and still allow for a “bed cover” or tonneau cover to be used over the mounting system so that the mounting system and equipment mounted therein remain safely inside the vehicle. The mounting system and attached equipment can easily be removed while not in use and re-attached to secondary mounting location for safe storage.

  • Patent number: 11215966
Abstract: Methods and systems for installing and verifying installation of a fastener assembly using predictive verification. A method includes receiving, at a processor, at least one fastener assembly hole characteristic of a fastener assembly hole. The method further includes determining, via the processor, whether the at least one fastener assembly hole characteristic is within a predetermined range of fastener assembly hole variable and, upon determining the at least one fastener assembly hole characteristic is within the predetermined range of fastener assembly hole variables, transmitting instructions, via the processor, to a fastening device to initiate installation of a fastener assembly in the fastener assembly hole. The processor then receives at least one installation value of the fastener assembly and determines via the processor, whether the installation value is within a predetermined range of fastener installation variables.

  • Patent number: 9826938
Abstract: A method of optical heart rate sensing includes receiving a motion frequency from a motion sensor and receiving an optical signal from an optical sensor. The motion frequency is then filtered from the optical signal, and an estimated heart rate frequency is determined based on the filtered optical signal. A heart rate is reported that is based on the motion frequency, but not based on the estimated heart rate frequency, when a local neighbor magnitude ratio of the estimated heart rate frequency is below a confidence threshold.

  • Publication number: 20170159394
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for regulating pressure in a blowout preventer (BOP) of a subsea well assembly. A closed loop regulator (CLR) that combines the functions of a pressure relieving valve and a pressure reducing valve into one body to control the pressure of a hydraulic circuit or a BOP mux control pod. A closed loop servo valve controlled proportional electrohydraulic reducing valve is used to allow continual variation of the pressure set point for the downstream circuit. If the downstream pressure exceeds the set point by a predetermined amount, the pressure relieving valve vents the pressure to the reservoir or atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 9501495
Abstract: This is directed to systems, methods and computer-readable media for media files having timed and untimed location metadata. For example, a media file can include timed location metadata stored in a metadata track of the media file, such that individual timed packets of location information are each associated with different portions of the recorded media. In some embodiments, the location metadata can include information describing the direction the device is facing and/or elevation/tilt of the device relative a horizontal plane (e.g. a plane perpendicular to a line between the device position and the center of the earth) and/or a motion of the device.
