  • Publication number: 20240074731
Abstract: An intraluminal imaging device that provides both flexibility and pushability is disclosed. The device includes a flexible elongate member configured to be positioned within a body lumen of a patient, and an imaging assembly disposed at the distal portion of the flexible elongate member and configured to obtain intraluminal image data. The distal portion of the flexible elongate member includes a region, proximal to the imaging assembly, that is less hard and/or more flexible than the proximal portion of the flexible elongate member. The more flexible region includes an inner member, an adhesive surrounding the inner member, a communication line embedded within the adhesive and configured to carry signals associated with the imaging assembly, and an outer polymer layer surrounding the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 11918865
Abstract: A golf club head with a channel sized to receive one or more adjustable weights and an external support structure that bridges, and thereby supports, the channel without unduly interfering with weight adjustment is disclosed herein. The support structure, which includes one or more stiffening members on the exterior of the golf club head, improves the sound quality of the golf club head, and is particularly useful to attenuate the lower frequency mode shapes associated with slider channel geometry in golf club heads.

  • Publication number: 20210220607
Abstract: Disclosed is an intraluminal catheter that includes a flexible elongate shaft configured to be positioned within a body lumen of a patient, and an intraluminal sensor disposed at the distal portion of the shaft that is configured to sense a characteristic within the body lumen. The shaft further comprises a plurality of wires disposed around a lumen, wherein the wires are helically twisted. The wires can be helically twisted in a single direction to form a cylindrical shape. This helical structure is configured to stiffen the flexible elongate shaft for movement into an obstruction within the body lumen without kinking.

  • Publication number: 20160175085
Abstract: An endoluminal filter including a first support member having a first end and a second end and a second support member attached to the first end of the first support member or the second end of the first support member and forming a crossover with the first support member. The endoluminal filter also includes a material capture structure extending between the first and second support members, the crossover and the first end or the second end of the first support member and at least one tissue anchor on the first support member or the second support member. The material capture structure can be formed by, for example, joining intersecting filaments, laser cutting a sheet of material, or additive manufacturing. A perimeter of the material capture structure can include attachments to join the material capture structure to the first or second support member.

  • Publication number: 20150297807
Abstract: The invention generally relates to treatment of fistulas and abscesses and specifically to an all-in-one treatment device. The invention provides an aspiration catheter with imaging capabilities that can also deploy a blocking device, thereby providing an all-in-one treatment device for treating a fistula or an abscess. The device is inserted into an abscess and its imaging capabilities can be used to guide the device to a treatment site. A clogging device can be deployed from the device to prevent draining into, or out of, the abscess. In certain aspects, the invention provides a device for aspirating an abscess or fistula that includes a catheter having an extended body with a lumen therein, an imaging device such as an ultrasonic transducer disposed at a distal portion of the catheter, and a clogging device deployable from the catheter.
