Abstract: The present invention is directed to wind turbine blades that include an additive manufactured system-integrated tip. The disclosed wind turbine blades reduce the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for both new and existing wind turbines.

Abstract: A wind turbine blade having a geometry that decreases the distance downstream at which freestream momentum is recovered is disclosed. The blade design increases the loading on the inboard portion of the blade and unloads the tip portion relative to a conventional blade designed to maximize power coefficient. A wind farm having a reduced inter-turbine distance and including one or more wind turbines having the new blade designs is also disclosed.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described that allow content associated with specified passages of a video program to be retrieved from a network and presented to the viewer of the video program in synchronization with the identified passages. A video waymark host that may be located in a television monitor or attached equipment such as a set-top box is disclosed. The waymark host identifies the occurrence of various points as the video is viewed and communicates this information to connected viewing devices such computers or mobile phones, allowing for the synchronized presentation of content on these devices.

Abstract: A system for associating overlay content with video programming and for allowing viewers of video programming to view the associated overlay content during playback of the video program, and methods for operation of video equipment, associated display devices and network servers to provide overlay content are disclosed. The overlay content is associated with specific passages of the video program while the content itself may be asynchronous or synchronized to the frames of the video programming. Users are able to identify what content is available and to determine how it will be played and on what devices.
