  • Publication number: 20180173308
Abstract: Provided herein are system, method and/or computer program product embodiments for providing a virtual reality breathing environment using a sensor in communication with a virtual reality system. Embodiments receive, from a breathing sensor, a signal indicative of an intensity of breathing of a user and displaying a visualization on a user display. Embodiments further compute a modification of a visual characteristic of the visualization based on the signal, the magnitude of the modification corresponding to the intensity of breathing of the user. The visualization is updated based on the modification.

  • Patent number: 9459425
Abstract: A spool system includes a spool and a spool support. The spool includes a spool body, a shaft, and an anti-rotation feature. The spool body has a center axis of rotation. The shaft includes a first end disposed on the spool body and extends from the spool body along the center axis of rotation to a second end. The anti-rotation feature is disposed on the shaft and defines a non-circular shape. The spool support supports the spool and defines a slot sized to slidably receive the shaft and a feature receiver that has a complimentary shape of the anti-rotation feature. The spool moves along the slot between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the anti-rotation feature of the spool is received by the feature receiver and prevents rotation of the spool. In the deployed position, the anti-rotation feature allows rotation of the spool.
