Publication number: 20250006217Abstract: A method includes receiving training data that includes a set of transcribed speech utterances where each respective transcribed speech utterance is paired with a corresponding transcription. For each respective transcribed speech utterance, the method includes generating an encoded audio representation and an encoded textual representation, generating a higher order audio feature representation for a corresponding encoded audio representation, generating a higher order textual feature representation for a corresponding encoded textual representation, and determining a loss for the respective transcribed speech utterance based on the higher order audio feature representation and the higher order textual feature representation. The method also includes training a speech encoder and a text encoder of a correction model based on the loss determined for each transcribed speech utterance of the set of transcribed speech utterances.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2023Publication date: January 2, 2025Applicant: Google LLCInventors: Christopher Li, Kyle Scott Kastner, Yuan Wang, Zhehuai Chen, Andrew Maxwell Rosenberg, Heng Su, Qian Chen, Leonid Aleksandrovich Velikovich, Patrick Maxim Rondon, Diamantino Antonio Caseiro, Zelin Wu

Publication number: 20240243356Abstract: Ionic liquid N-methyl-N-propyl-pyrrolidinium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (Pyr13FSI) was introduced into a hybrid network to obtain a series of gel polymer electrolytes (GPEs). Mechanical and electrochemical properties of the GPEs were tuned through controlling the network structure and ionic liquid contents, and ionic conductivity higher than 1 mS cm?1 at room temperature was achieved. The newly developed GPEs are flame-retardant and show excellent thermal and electrochemical stability as well as ultra-stability with lithium metal anode. Symmetrical lithium cells with the GPEs exhibit a stable cycling over 6800 h at a current density of 0.1 mA cm?2 and stable lithium stripping-plating at 1 mA cm?2, the highest current density reported for ionic liquid-based GPEs. Moreover, Li/LiFePO4 batteries with the obtained GPEs exhibit desirable cycling stability and rate performance over a wide temperature range from 0° C. to 90° C.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2023Publication date: July 18, 2024Applicant: DREXEL UNIVERSITYInventors: Xiaowei Li, Yongwei Zheng, Christopher Li

Publication number: 20230416929Abstract: An electrochemical process, and related method and system to upgrade captured CO2 into value-added products. CO2 capture technologies based on chemisorption present the potential to lower net emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere. The use of alkali cations to tailor the electrochemical double layer allows achieving the valorization of chemisorbed CO2 in an aqueous amine-based electrolyte, by placing the CO2 of the amine-CO2 adduct sufficiently close to the site of an heterogeneous reaction at the working electrode. It is revealed, using electrochemical studies and in-situ surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, that a smaller double layer distance can correlate with improved activity for CO2 to CO from amine solutions.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 25, 2021Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventors: Edward H. SARGENT, Geonhui LEE, Yuguang Christopher LI

Publication number: 20230246231Abstract: A solid polymer electrolyte including a comb-chain crosslinked network formed by reacting poly(glycidyl methacrylate) with a functionalized poly(ethylene glycol) or functionalized poly(ethylene oxide). Batteries including the solid polymer electrolytes, a cathode, and a metal anode or one or more lithium salts are also described. A process of preparing the solid polymer electrolyte involves reacting a poly(glycidyl methacrylate) with a functionalized poly(ethylene glycol) or functionalized poly(ethylene oxide) to form a crosslinked network in a single-step polymerization process. The solid polymer electrolyte provides improved resistance to lithium dendrite formation and has excellent physical and electrical properties that make it particularly suitable for use in lithium batteries.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2021Publication date: August 3, 2023Applicant: DREXEL UNIVERSITYInventors: Xiaowei Li, Yongwei Zheng, Christopher Li
