Publication number: 20240108899Abstract: Neuromodulation devices and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. Various embodiments of the present technology relate to devices, systems, and methods for delivering electrical energy to a hypoglossal nerve of a patient. According to some embodiments, the present technology includes an implantable neuromodulation device comprising an electronics package, a branched lead body, and an extension portion between the electronics package and lead body. The lead body can comprise a first arm with first conductive elements and a second arm with second conductive elements. The lead body can be configured to be positioned between a patient's genioglossus and geniohyoid muscles such that the first arm and first conductive elements are positioned proximate one of the patient's hypoglossal nerves and the second arm and second conductive elements are positioned proximate a contralateral one of the patient's hypoglossal nerves.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Anthony V. Patent number: 5881701Abstract: A multipoint fuel delivery system for an internal combustion engine includes fuel metering device(s) such as fuel injector(s) associated for selectively controlled injection of the second fuel to corresponding combustion chamber(s) of the internal combustion engine. A fuel supply manifold associates with fuel injector(s) for directing the second fuel to each fuel injector. An intake port adaptor mechanism adapts the intake port of the associated combustion chamber to receive the selectively controlled injection of the fuel from an associated fuel injector. The intake port adaptor mechanism may also engage the intake port so as to permit selective flow of the first fuel or the second fuel to the intake port of the selected combustion chamber. A control mechanism selectively controls the flow of the second fuel through each injector(s).Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1997Date of Patent: March 16, 1999Assignee: Woodward Governor CompanyInventors: Steven R. King, Michael W. Walser, Christopher M. Cole, John W. Carpenter

Patent number: 5577185Abstract: Computerized puzzle gaming method and apparatus are described. The method and apparatus provide for the computer-assisted creation, storage, recall, editing, solving and sharing of animated puzzles. Puzzles may be created for posing and solution on a personal computer's (PC's) display screen by user selection and placement of objects including structural members, action devices and characters each of which has a set of programmed physical and intellectual attributes. Structural members and characters, for example, have an artificial intelligence in that they seemingly are aware of the existence, identity, proximity, orientation and activity of objects around them and selectively act on those objects or react to those objects in predefined ways to enhance the animation. Objects are programmed to obey physical laws such as the laws of gravity, motion, etc., and natural laws such as hunger, affinity, etc.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 1994Date of Patent: November 19, 1996Assignee: Dynamix, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey A.
