Abstract: A portable power unit includes a base module, a pair of wheels coupled to the base module, and a main core battery disposed in the base module. A portable charger is removably coupled to the base module and includes a charger core battery, a battery receptacle electrically coupled to the charger core battery and configured to mechanically and electrically couple to a battery pack, and a cover movable to selectively allow access to the battery receptacle. The main core battery is electrically couplable with the charger core battery or the battery receptacle.

Abstract: An implement holder that removably attaches to a container, comprises a frame and a support. The frame contains a pair of open slots. The slots define an engagement tab therebetween. The tab flexes in response to a force. The support projects from one side of the frame and is configured to support an implement. The holder is attached to the container by (i) positioning the frame relative to the container such that the support is outside the container, (ii) aligning the slots of the frame on a rim of the container such that the tab is inside the rim, and (iii) pushing the frame onto the rim to cause the tab to flex and allow the frame to slidably engage a wall of the container along the slots, such that the tab is biased against the wall and securely holds the frame to the container.

Abstract: A method of recovering chemicals from spent black liquor used in a kraft pulping process comprising organic materials having oxygen containing functional groups, the method comprising heating the black liquor in the presence of lime at an elevated temperature and at a corresponding pressure at which there is no or substantially no boiling of the black liquor, until all or a portion of the oxygen is converted into carbon dioxide to form a slurry comprising microparticulate char and a white liquor suspension. The heating can be accomplished with any suitable means. For example, black liquor is evaporated in an evaporator train, and the liquor pumped in a high pressure pump to a suitable pressure, as for example, a pressure of from about 1200 psig to about 2000 psig. Thereafter, the liquor is transferred to a heat exchanger and heated to the elevated temperature, as for example a temperature of at least about 475° F.
